We always do my bby boys birthday a week before because I have him a big party bc we have a big family. I do seperate presents and mostly all the family does as well. It isnt fair to combine the two.

I agree with Nicole. I usually have a birthday around the 17th. I usually have some good friends from our moms group we've know since she was 8 months. Last year his parents celebrated Christmas with us and had to be there the next day too. I was tired and didn't want to fuss so much because she was inky turning two and wasn't really aware of it!

Whatever!

This year I am taking the girls to Disney for November and small parties, a couple friends.

My son's b-day is on the 24th. I always have his party a week before his birthday. We give him birthday and Christmas presents seperately. I don't think it is "fair" to combine the presents just because he was born the day before Christmas. The way I look at it is you wouldn't combine a child's b-day and Christmas presents if they were born in June so why do it for the child that has a b-day close to Christmas? He also gets summer presents/new stuff in the summer time that way he doesn't have to go ALL year before getting a new toy or more crayons/markers/paint, etc...

my daughters birthday is the 24th i do her party either a week or a few days before her birthday but she still has presents on her birthday, and has Christmas present on Christmas it is a bit difficult but she has separate presents for each day.

My daughter was Due on Christmas Eve (12/24). I went into the hospital after Christmas Dinner and had her on 12/26/09 at 9:37 am. It is hard for the holidays, especially having another daughter born on 11/26/02 (Thanksgiving).

My daughters birthday is on the 22nd of dec im doing her lst birthday party on christmas day with the family its easier, when shes old enough she can decide what she wants, now shes to young and doesnt understand yet same goes for presents she wouldnt know how many she got ;P

my son born in December 26 all teh family are bringing him seperte presents one for his birthday one for Christmas. I am doing his party in Dec 26 with sesame street them but I am keeping teh Christmas decoration you just need to order his cake early because will be hard in this date to order and pick up.

My daughter was born Dec. 24. I plan on having a small party for close friends and family that she is used to seeing on a regular basis and then we are having a birthday breakfast for just the family on Christmas Eve. I have bought birthday and Christmas presents and have wrapping paper for both occasions.

my son is born on 26th, we are having his bday party on the 26th. I dont want him to grow up thinking his birthday is a hassle. My neice is on the 25th dec too but she is 22. I dont want to do it on another day i dont celebrate my birthday on a different day so neither will he!

My son birthday is the 23rd so we are planning on doing a birthday party the 11th because none of my husband family or mine will be able to come the date of his birthday. We are going to celebrate his birthday also on his date but it is deff hard because his birthday being so close to Christmas.

Both my sons have dec.birthdays (9th and 14th). I have their party early in the month. My friend's daughter is the 26th. She does a party between Christmas and New Years, often on the 26th itself, and does do separate gifts for each.
