We have just realized that our 5 month old who has eczema. wheezing-he had RSV so we didn't pay much attention- and now rashes anywhere his regular formula touched his face and threw up the entire bottle of formula. I breastfeed so it is extremely rare that he got a bottle, if he did it was only half formula, half breastmilk. The dr told me to switch him to soy... I am going dairy free for 2 weeks and it has almost stopped his spitting up. My question is if anyone else is having this problem, how do you eat dairy free?

Is your baby an A blood type? Try goats milk. Does it have the same effect?

Most dairy products are non digestible for type A's. Reason is that the type A blood creates antibodies to the primary sugar in whole milk. D-galactosamine. This is a type of sugar that are produced from mammals.

If your bub is a blood type A, be aware that dairy products will greatly increase the amount of mucus secreated. Type A's naturally produce more mucus than others, Probably because they need more protection for their immune system.
But too much can be a prob, cos other bacteria tend to live off it. Can lead to allergies, infections (ears, tonsils, respiratory, asthma etc). This is for life usually.
Thats what my research has found.
Hope your bub is one of the lucky ones and grows out of it.
Hope this helps

I am lactose intolerant, since i was little, my mom gave my the soy-based formula, i can cook with milk but as for drinking it, theres no way. The only way i get any dairy is by cooking with it.like pastas.
