I love my little boys name. It's unique and my husband thought of it. We named him Bronx. I was curious what you guys named your little one, and if it's unique, how'd you come up with it?

We named our first son Easton Jeter. My husband is a huge baseball fan...Easton is a baseball brand and he is also a big fan of the Yankees and Derek Jeter. Our baby girl is Piper Kay. I just love the name Piper and Kay is supposed to stand for Kristina (my middle name) but I didn't like just the K.

My daughters name is Leighanna Ariella Lynn. Lynn is mine and my mother's middle name. My hubby picked Ariella. Its pronounced like Disney's princess Ariel, but with an A at the end. And Leighanna is something I found in a baby names book spelled Leanna. I don't like common spellings, so i tweaked it. It's pronounced Lay-ah-nah.

I have 1yo twins and their names are Micah James ,after his father, and Olivia Rose, just because we like the name. Had no idea how popular Olivia was until she was born and now it is the 3rd most popular girls name.

we're thinking of trying for another baby in a few months.
Our names are going to be Kira for a boy or Sparrow for a girl.

I named my son Carson Leland. My maiden name was Carr and I wanted to pay homage to my grandfather Carr and his middle name is after my husband's grandfather's name. I like the fact that they aren't so off the wall that noone has heard of them, but also not that common. My grandfather has passed on but Grandpa Leland started to tear up when we told him our sons name. Priceless :-)Bronx sounds like a good strong name!

I named my two little Kyah and Eden. I wanted something a little different but nothing way out there.
Kyah means 'diamond in the sky' and Eden - 'Paradise'
They are both pretty sounding names that also go well together. And i am yet to know any kids that have the same name,,,

Personally, I like Aubree. I think it's pretty and different. I haven't seen it spelled that way before. But Aubree is a pretty name.

I was thinking that if I have another boy, I want to name him Jax and if I have a girl, I like the name Alexis or Aubree. I am wondering what's a better spelling, Aubree or Aubrey?

My little girl was born December 7, 2009. I named her Harmoni Paige Michele Mitchell. Her biological father came up with Harmoni but I wanted to spell it differently, so I put an "i" at the end. I haven't met any Harmoni's around here. I've always liked the name Paige so I gave her that middle name, and my mom's middle name is Michele, so I added that in after. I love her name. I think it's beautiful.

aww so many gorgeous names!!! I would like to think my little man's name is not very common anymore but I think it's more common than I thought :( His name is Sebastian Xavier! I let my hubby come up with the name. One day we were watching Cruel Intentions which is an all time fave of mine and his and he was like what about Sebastian!! Then he just came up with Xavier.

My youngest born on 10th Dec 09 is called Violet Hope, her daddy picked her 1st name & her middle name had to have 4 letters like me, her dad & sister & we thought it went lovely together.
My eldest born 12 dec 02 is Brogan Sian, I loved the name Brogan its an irish name either after a heavy shoe or after the saint who was a scribe to saint patrick & she got the Sian as its welsh for Jane which is a family name.

I'm not sure how unique my daughter's name is but I wanted something that wasn't too ordinary and it had to start with the letter Y for my grandmother whom I love so much, so her after trying to come up with ideas we both decided to name her Yelani Victoria. I found it to be different she has the Y for my grandma's name whose Yolanda and a V for her dads name

Our oldest is almost 17 years old...and back then we didn't have computers to look up the popularity of names! ;-D One day a co-worker of mine threw out the name of 'Kelsey' and I went home and told my husband...well, he loved it and wouldn't consider any other names. She, of course, hates her name because it is too popular. Her middle name is a family name in my family which is Iwanlani. It's Hawaiian for, 'gift from heaven'. Our almost 14 year old sons name is Gideyn Whyte. Gideyn because Gwydion was the legendary childhood name of King Arthur. And Whyte because in my family the eldest son receives the mothers maiden name as a middle name. My grandfather was my father figure so it is his name that I gave to my first born son. Our youngest daughter was born on 12-11-09, (no, she wasn't an 'oops', we just decided we wanted more children....even in our late 30's), and we named her Harley Vanita. Harley because that is as close to one as my husband is going to get AND it's the only name our family could agree on, and Vanita for my grandmother who is in the later stages of Alzheimers...and who was/is my hero. We did try to be original for our children without going crazy on spellings or names....thank goodness for the internet!!! ;-D

All the baby names are unique I have 3 children my oldest is Angelica Yasmine 7, my 5 year old Carlos Benjamin and my 4 month Romeo Osvaldo I tried finding names that were not in the family. But my babies middle name is the same as his dad it sounds good if you say the first name in English and the middle in Spanish. ;)

Really unique names ladies! :-) We picked our baby's name even before we knew it was a boy or girl, right out of a baby book - Zayn. It means 'handsome' in Arabic, which we thought fitting since my husband is Libyan (I'm Chinese!). We also wanted a short name (no future nightmares of spelling it over the phone!). It's also unique where we live - I've never heard it as a first name before. We get lots of compliments :-)

I have such a unique name that we went with common names for our girls.

My oldest is Hayley Lynn. I got her name from my favorite Nora Roberts series in the garden if anyone is familiar with it. Lynn is her aunt's middle name.My mother in law also told me later that the year hayley was conceived ( 2006 ) was the last year that Hayley's comet passed us for our lifetime. Our second is Tera Leigh. My husband chose her name Tera after a famous biker. He rides a lot himself. and he couldn't choose a middle name so I suggested we use his just with the girl spelling.

My daughter's name is Ashya Belle. Yes, we got a lot of negative feedback when we first told people. However, we love it, and it fits her well. We picked Ashya out of a baby book and Belle is a name that I have always loved, but never met someone by that name. Ashya means "life" and Belle means "beautiful". She is our Beautiful Life!

my 13 week little girl is called Marisa Bella (ma-ree-sah). We had the name Marisa from the start but could not come up with a boy's name so luck I had a girl! My Husband spent 8 years living in Portugal where Marisa is more commanlly used.

Towards the end of my pregnancy I changed my mind and wanted to call her Bella, but then I went to see the Twilight film and I expect that there will be a lot of Bella's over the next couple of years! I also have a lot of friends who have called their daughters Isabel/la so I used Bella as her middle name. My other Girls name would have been Bryony so I will save that for No.2 daughter if I have one!

I have 3 children. My oldest is Rylee Robert. I named him Rylee because I really liked the name but wanted a unique spelling (and I was able to take all the letters from my mother's name Beverly to spell it) and Robert after his father and grandfather. My daughter's name is Danica Raye. We were going to name her Addison but that name was very popular at the time. So we choice Danica because my husband and I both liked it. Raye is my mother's middle name. My 12 week old's name is Ashlyn Johnna. I combined my cousin Ashley and my aunt Linda's names and changed the i to a y. Johnna is the female version on John which is my dad and brother's name.

I have a little boy and his name is Haruki. Im Australian but my husband is Japanese and we live in Japan. We chose the name because of the meaning of the kanji (japanese characters) for his name. The first kanji is for HARU and it means far-reaching and the KI kanji means shining. Basically means that his light shines bright and far.

My son born 2nd Aug 07 is called Hunter Brett. Hunter just came to me about 2 weeks before he was born 6 weeks early. The name just felt right even though he was 3lb and looked like a steamed dim sim! My daughter born 2nd Dec 09 is called Isabelle Elliot. I wanted to name her Stella Joyce or Elliot but had a dream that I yelled "Isabelle Rebecca stop throwing the dirt" and my husband would hear of no other name. Even though I'm not a fan of Isabelle as a name, my Isabelle is very placid, and beautiful. I added Elliot as I loved the name. I nick named her Tink.
