I love my little boys name. It's unique and my husband thought of it. We named him Bronx. I was curious what you guys named your little one, and if it's unique, how'd you come up with it?

My little boy's name is Van Reese. I usually get mixed opinions about it. Either people love it or hate it (but are usually too polite to say but their face gives them away). My husband and I really like it and we have yet to meet another mini-van. LOL

We named our little girl Charis Eirainay. Charis is greek for grace and Eirainay (A-ray-nay, all long a's) is greek for peace. We love looking at the meanings. My husband has his masters in divinity with an emphasis in languages (Greek and Hebrew). He just started searching and that is what we came up with.

And Nathaniel my husband and I agreed on. As for our daughter, her name is Serenity Addison Faith. Serenity wsas my mom's choise. Addison my husband and I agreed on. And Faith was in honor of my name, Hope.

We went with names to reflect our children's heritage. Our son is Kealan Ashby and our daughter is Caley Eryn (Kealan and Eryn are Celtic; Ashby and Caley are varieties of banksia native to Australia, which funnily enough happen to flower in the months they were born). While we have yet to meet anyone else with their names, we have heard of a few Kealans (both as first and surnames) and Ashbys (surnames). Our son was the only Kealan in SA for 2006...the stats for 2009 haven't been released yet.

My daughter's name is very special to us. She actually has three names - Alana Anna Aaryn. Alana is for my husband's father Allan, Anna is for my grandmother Anna, and Aaryn is for my uncle Allen, who's hebrew name was Aaron. Her hebrew name is Alitza Chana Aharona. It took us 4 years to have her and we lost both my grandmother and my uncle in the time we were trying and felt we had to name for both of them and my husband's father was already deceased so that was a no-brainer.

So, her initials are Triple A. Put that together with my last name for a good laugh!

I named my daughter Rylee Rose, Rylee because of the fact its Irish and i wanted to stay within our roots, Rose because its my favorite flower, its the province both her and i were born in's flower, and i thought it sounded really nice with Rylee.

My lil one's name is Kaine David. My fiance picked Kaine, wanted to spell it just Kain, after the name he's used on the internet for years. I changed up the spelling, didn't want it to be biblical in that sense. We live near a town called Kane, lol, and also, my fiance is 7 ft tall, so if our son ends up that tall, I don't want him hearing "Are you named after the wrestler?" David also happens to be the name of an uncle of mine who died before I was born, my fiance's middle name, as well as my brother's middle name. Seemed like a given lol.

I also love my 3 y.o.'s name- Raelin Joyce. Raelin comes from a game called Heroscape, I've loved that name since I heard it, the character named that is a an avenging angel who protects her friends with her aura. Joyce is my mom's middle name.

Our little boy is Alex John. We wanted something normal so when he goes to school he won't have trouble spelling it, same with the teachers trying to say it as for other kids to, (and people in general). My husband decided on the name.

My oldest is Donevan. His father picked it out. I don't find it unique, but you def don't hear it often, which is why I like it. The twins are Nathaniel, I just liked the name, and I know there won't be 10 of them in his class when he starts school, and his brother is William, again because I liked it. Although that name is becoming very popular

my first born is Gallagher Sy - his first name comes from our love for the band Oasis and the Gallagher brothers, middle name is for his grandfather, Sylvester, but goes by Sy. my 3 month old is Sawyer Galen - we just liked the sound of his first name, and went with it before we knew if he was a boy or girl, his middle name is after his grandmother, Gale, but we added an N so that it would be less feminine.

My husband suggested the name Katelyn soon after we found out we were expecting a girl, and I've always loved the name Katelyn, so Katelyn it was! I came up with her middle name, Rose, purely because I think it's a pretty name.

We named our baby V'leah Margaret. V'leah (va-lay-ah) is a very unique name, it's actually a hebrew form of Leah. We chose it because we were at a messianic jewish church service and saw it on the screen while the worship team was playing a song. We are worship leaders at our church, so it fit well. Aside from how we chose it, my husband thinks it's super cool that she's got an apostophy in her name (LOL!) and I like princess leah from starwars, lol, so it is a fun name for our family. Margaret came from Wade's grandmother and that's cool to because Margaret means "pearl" which is my birthstone.

We've decided that all of our kids will have hebrew names. We have the first boy name picked out (Daniel), but I've been looking around for another girl name. So far I'm liking Hope, Grace, Hadassah, Eden, Eva and Ruth....

[deleted account]

My daughter is Gabriela Victoria... Gabi for short, Victoria is because her father's name is Victor.

My middle name is Christine after my father Christopher. Silly but I liked it!

Our first born who is almost 5 is Kaidyn Michael, our 2nd is our 2 year old daughter Kylie Marie...and our newest born 12-12-09 is Khloey Morgyn. We just kinda stuck with the "KM" theme...and it ended up working!! Their names all fit them so well. I choose Kaidyn(Caden)...it was the only name I liked at the time, I let my husband pick Kylies name and he asked his friend to help with her middle name, it he just happened to pick a M name...so when we found out we were pregnant with #3...she had to be a "KM" name...we both liked Khloey, and it was a toss up between Morgyn and Michelle...and Morgyn one!! :)

Bronx is an adorable name!!!

My oldest daughter's name is ChaNiyah Braneigh> long story short, my great-grandmother LOVED Shania Twain and she passed away during my pregnancy. My first name is Chavonda and wanted a named that started with "Cha". My mom passed away when I was 14 and her name was Betty Jean (nicknamed BJ) so I wanted a middle name that started with a B or J. Almost went with Janeigh but thought Braneigh was less common.

My 2 month old's name is Chanelle Jereigh. Same reasons as my oldest... and together they are BJ...

i named my first baby Jayden-shaun michael as he was supposed to be called jasmine-skyler marie but ended up being a girl and i wanted to keep the same initials and i named my 2nd baby Jasmine-Sharieka miley. Jasmine because ive always loved the name jasmine. sharieka because her father saw shakira on tv and accidently called her sharieka and we decided that was a nice name and fitted in with the initials and miley after miley cyrus. and the reason i hyphenated their names i s because the town we were living in at the time already had several jasmine and jaydens and i wanted my children to have unique names. obviously i didnt take into account them learning to write their names....sorry my babies.....LOL

Ya I know Ashley Simpson named her son Bronx, but that's definitely not why we named him that! lol My husband thought of it actually and he's not one to know much about celebrities. I'm surprised that there are a few people who named their kids Kadence because my friend had told me that name a few years ago and I loved it and had never heard it before.

My oldest son's name is Caleb Ryan - one night my husband and I were sitting in church trying to think of names and he just pointed at Caleb and asked, "What about that?" and I liked it because I didn't know any other Caleb's. Now I know several (of course). He let me pick Ryan when I was in labor just because I liked the way it sounded together. Our second son is Joshua Seth - Joshua was the only name we could agree on (I wanted Micah) and I chose Seth when I was in the hospital after having him - once again, because I liked the way it sounded. Our 3rd son is Nicolas James - we hadn't even discussed names before he was born so he wasn't named until he was 2 days old. My husband thought of Nicolas and I wanted to spell it without the h and I picked James, again, because I liked it. If I ever have a girl, I would love to name her Leah or Alaena.

Oh, and by the way, my nephew's name is Cadence and I knew one girl with the same name but it was spelled Kaydence.
