hi my 2 child my daughter torrie was born 25th dec 09 xmas day 7.5 pounds shes 10 mounths old now has 8 teeth but isnt crawling or walking only in the walker shes very slack like my 3 yr old son was

Thanks for the invite. My little man was due on 12-21-09 but he decided to hangout in my belly for a few more days and was born 12-26-09 8lbs 6oz 20 1/2inches. I love being a new mom it does get hard at times with little sleep but it is worth every second of every day. He is crawling every where and loves to stand if he actually lets us hold him its only for a few minutes. He will be 10mnths in a week and already has 7 teeth, he got the first 2 teeth at 4 mnths. he is growing so fast, and we love going to mommy and me meet ups in our town.

Cangrats to all and thanks for the invite, my big boy was born 12-16-2009. He's taking steps and don't bother with the bottle much he rather solid food,so bottle feeding is down. He is busy body, he don't like to be held, he reather the floor, my hands are full from time to time.

Ok so I am a bit later then a tad late but I just wana say congrats also and by the way, even tho I was due dec. 5th, My little mad decided to come 10 days eary so he was a day befor thanksgiving baby!!!! This year it really does fall on thanksgiving!!!

Hello everyone Congrats on your bundles of joy in Dec. 2009 My little guy was suspose to be born on Christmas day. I had bad gallstone attacks during my pregnancy and some other factors that I had to be on bloodthinners during my labour :( I was induced on Dec 27th in the morning ....well this being my fourth baby , thinking labour would go fast....... Boy I was completely wrong 31 hours later . My little guy was welcomed into the world. Dec 28th 9:42pm 7lbs 11oz. 20" long his name is Ocean :) I wanted something to remind me of my grandma I lost earlier that year. She always wanted to see the Ocean in Hawaii. OH...BORN in December!?? I have ignored this invite 'cause I was due in Feb., LOL!! Must have started this site before Dec. huh, Nikki??!! I really enjoyed reading everyones posts while I feed the boys today...CONGRADULATIONS!! Cameron and Connor were born Dec. 14th at 7:57PM and 8:03PM. They were 16.5 inches long and 3 lbs 9oz and 3 lbs 11oz. (That's BAIT size) LOL!! We brought them home at the end of Janurary to the joy of their brother (13) and sisters (12 & 7). The boys are identical and were 13.5 lbs at 4 months!! They have never been sick (just incubated) but do suffer from eposides of apnea (stop breathing) and bradies (low heart rate). They are both on heart and lung monitors 24/7 (pain) but should grow out of this very soon!! I have all but shut my company down to care for them and am home bound, so I love messages. I am the richest person I know, I have it all!! (Okay, maybe some free formula!!LOL) Everyone have a wonderful year with their new family member(s) (Including you, LORD, please care for the new babies that are yours!!) !!

Our precious boy was born at 6:42 pm on Dec. 21st, 2009 (MY birthday is 12/25 - Guess he just wanted his own day!)... He was 15 weeks early and weighed only 1 lb. 14 oz. & was 13 inches long. On his due date, April 5, 2010 he was 7 lbs. 8 oz. & 20 inches! He's still in the NICU, but the doctors are HOPING we get to come home by the end of April! (Fingers crossed!)
Oh! His name is Isaac Van Robert. My husband has an 18 y.o. step-son who he's raised since he was 7 - he's "ours" :) - & an 8 y.o. son. I'm surrounded by boys! They live with their mom, and we see them as often as we can squeeze in! They're really great boys & I am very very very blessed to have a husband who I know will be an incredible dad to Isaac, who is my first child!
Since he's been in the hospital for so long, I'm afraid when he comes home he'll be disappointed that he doesn't have all of his "girlfriends" coming in to hold him & tell him how cute & wonderful he is! I'll be staying home with him for the foreseeable future due to his health issues, which are mostly related to immature lungs & which he *should* eventually grow out of. Currently he's 8 lbs. 5 oz. & 21 inches. He gets steroids to help his respiratory function & it's made his naturally very round cheeks REALLY round. I "get the kisses on his cheeks", very slowly I bring my face to his & kiss kiss kiss his cheeks, he wrinkles his nose & snorts, grunts and complains - just like a little boy! He's VERY opinionated & has never been shy about letting anyone know if he likes something or not!
When he was born the neonatologist told us that just as if he were in the womb, he still had to grow & develop day by day; the bizarre thing was that we were able to watch that process. It truly amazes me that even though he was extremely premature, many of his personality traits were apparent even then!
Congratulations to all my fellow December moms! What a lovely Christmas gift! :)

Maria, When my son was constipated the doctor said to put a couple of teaspoons of dark karo syrup in his bottles. I didn't do it every bottle, just one at a time to test its effects. It did seem to loosen them a bit. Have you thought about trying another formula?

hey,my son is 3 months now and i breast and formula feed him and he get constipated alot here lately i've tried lubing a thermometer and sticking it in his but but i worked every now and then and i alson have tried giving him a little bit of prune juice,is there anything else i can do to help him go more and better since the last time he did anything it was a little solid and made him bleed a little.

My son Jackson was born on December 21. I can't belaive that soon he will be 4 months old! Time certainly flies! I am so proud of him! His smiles are the highlight of my day! He already sits in his exersaucer. He is also teething! WOW he is certainly progressing fast! Any suggestions for a teething baby? Currently I am giving him Camilia.

congrats to all you december baby mamas My lil beauty was born 12/12/09...Anyone else out there with that date? She came 2wks early. Supposed to be due christmas day.. : ) I recently started feeding her rice cereal mixed with breastmilk last week. She started 1tbs once a day. This week she moved tp 3tbs a day. yesterday and so far today no BM. Im gettin worried. I was told they should have at least one bowel movement a day.. Can anyone help? how can i make her poop?

I had Joel on December 19th and am breastfeeding, and supplementing with approx 2-3 bottles a day of formula.
My husband and I won a trip to Mexico and are unableto take Joel, My question is, Do you think he will still want to breastfeed when I get back?

My little man Preston Nethaniel was born December 25th weighing 8 pounds 1.1 ounce and 21 1/2" long @ 12:23 pm.... I also have a little girl who will be 4 in July.... She is an awesome sister and we love our little guy soo much... I can't believe he is already 3 months old :(

I know that I am probably too late in resonding and your baby is probably all better now, however, in the future you could try giving your baby non flavored pedialyte to help from getting dehydrated, a dehumidifier and another trick my doctor told me was to elevate the mattress in which she sleeps only slightly it will help the congestion and the cough..I tried it for my baby girl and it helped a great deal

Thank you! Miss. Khloe Kline was born December 14th 2009 at 3:33am 7lbs 4oz 20 1/4" long. Things got off to a rocky start she was hospitalized at 5 days old due to a cold that she just couldn't handle, to much mucus for a little nose! She was hospitalized again mid January for a unexplained fever but everything else has been great! Her big sister Karlee loves her soooo much! It's alot of work having 2 children, but it's all worth it just to see them smile! Good luck everyone!
