I do but I have SPD and have had symptoms of this since I was 6 months pregnant. Not much you can do if you do have SPD just rest up and look forward to the birth :-D

My sister in law also mentioned trying the pelvic rock- get on your hands and knees and "rock" your pelvis about 40 times before bed and the pain wont be as bad. She also said that downward facing dog for those of you familiar with yoga can help as well. At this point Im willing to try about anything, lol!

I have teh same problem as well- only the pain is worse when I have to get up in teh middle of the night to go to the bathroom or when I get up in the morning to get ready for work- I have just attributed the pain to being pregnant and as Tylenol doesnt do anything for me I just push through it. This is my first full term pregnancy (currently 36 weeks) so I don't really know anything other than this experience.

I have the same serious pain!! I don't think there is anything to help it. Same old tips, sleep with pillow between your knees. It doesn't help we have to sleep on our sides, I wake up because of my aching hips.

I'm 38 weeks and i found out to help me sleep was to lie on (either) side and put a pillow ( or a body pillow) between my legs and stops the weight of my top leg added more pressure on my bottom leg and the pain in my pelvis wasn't as strong and i was able to sleep

I am 36 weeks with my first and am having trouble with my pelvis. My OB said it was ok to see my chiropractor. I saw him last week and he said my right pelvis had shifted. He "moved" it back in place but said it would likely continue to do the same thing until the baby is born. It made a big difference in walking so I am going to go once a week for an adjustment until the baby is here.

I do not know what to tell you as far as a remedy but i am in the same boat. But i notice that when i am trying to go to sleep is when my left hip hurts like some one tried to seperate the bones. I do find that if i lay on my right side for a little while i can lay on my left but for me it happens at night hope that this helpped in some way!

Im 32 weeks and my back is so bad, apparently its the weight of the baby but i never had it this bad on my first even though was 15yr ago..I bought one of those pregnancy body support pillows, a bit exspensive but best money iv spent yet, it takes most of the pressure from my back bump and hips, I can actually sleep now,, google it and good luck ladies xxxx

This is my second pregnancy and I am 32 weeks as well...I was having immense hip/pelvic pain to the point I would cry when I walked. The doctor diagnosed me with PSD. It is basically when your pelvis seperates. Try looking it up and see if those match your symptoms. I'm now out of work on disability for the duration of the pregnancy. :-( And unfortunately not even laying in bed relieves the pain, although it doesn't aggravate it either.

I have the same pain, specially when I sleep on 1 side or d other,it hurts so much i have to turn, but sometimes the pain stays through d whole day,I went to d doctor and he told me that d pain comes from the lower back because there's a lots of pressure on it at the moment(I'm 33wks) and he also told me it could be coz I already put 16 kgs and have another 7 wks to go,I will gain more.No cure or remedies,he said just some safe painkillers if it's very bad and heat packs on the hips.

I have the lower back pain where after sitting for a while I can't walk either. I"ve been crawling up the stairs at night! My doctor said heat (heating pad) and tylenol.

Do any of you with this hip pain also have an incredible pain in the tendons or muscles in your inner-upper thigh area? I can't remember if those are called aductors or abductors... Mine hurt so bad that if I've been sitting or laying for an hour or so, my legs will be so stiff and in such pain that it's hard to walk for several minutes without feeling like I'm gonna fall over! I'd love to hear of remedies, also. Besides hot baths, which do work, but how many of those do I want to take per day? ;)
