my lil girl has been sleep through the night since she was almost 8 weeks old going down anywhere from 6pm-8pm waking up around 5 or 6 she still goes down around then but wakes between 6 and 7, 7 on the weekends because shes not woken by her daddy going to work at 6. she sleeps for about an hour to two hours in the middle of the day. she wants to feed as soon as she wakes and normal before she goes down of a night but she has a feed then play then sleep during the day. Breastfeeding and going well!!!

My little one is almost 11 weeks and she's a pretty good sleeper usually. She normally goes down around 7.30-8pm, I give her a dream feed (I breast feed her by the way) at 10-10.30, just before I go to bed and that carries her through until 3-4am, then she'll wake again anywhere between 6-8am.

my 11 week old girl wants fed every 2 1/2 hours, so shes up for an hour down for 1 1/2 (or sometimes the other way round) then up for a feed again anywhere between 90-180mls this goes on all day untill between 9 and 10 when she goes down for the night. Normally gets up once between 3-4 for a dream feed then sleeps again till 7-8 and we start again. Shes just started waking twice during the night again about 1 and 5 for dream feeds so i think maybe shes just having a growth spurt.

My little girl has pretty much been sleeping through the night since right before she was a month old. She goes to sleep anywhere from 6-8 at night and we put her in her crib and she doesnt wake up until between 5-8 am.

my daughter is 10 weeks old and she goes down at about 8pm at night and wakes up at 4 o 5am for a bottle then goes back down until about 7 or 8am. She didn't start sleeping more than 4 hours until about 3 weeks ago. Since then it's been a dream...we're fortunate. She takes 2 or 3 30 or 40min naps during the day. A routine defintely helps, our daughter seems to thrive on one.

my son is 9 weeks, and I am EP, so he's drinking breastmilk every 3-4 hours during the day, and takes his last bottle between 9:30-10:30 and doesn't wake up until 6ish. He just started doing this on his 2 month birthday 2/26!!!!

thanks, I might try the cereal thing. I read in some book that after the beginning newborn stage to stop swaddling them so they have their hands, I think since others are still swaddling, I will try that again, it seemed to work well.

My son is 2 month old and he sleeps threw the night now. His doctor gave me the okay to give him cereal so I normally give him a little of the cereal and 3oz bottle and he sleeps threw the hole night from 11pm-7am. It's pretty nice because he was waking up a lot during the night now he just sleeps threw the night. I also have to swaddle him

My baby boy is 10 weeks and is fed 4 oz and then down between 9/10ish usually sleeps until 3/4am and then feeds a couple of ounces and is back asleep but then wakes every 45 minutes or so until 7am when I just give up and get up. He eats 4oz every 3 hours during the day and cat naps for about 30 minutes maybe a few times. He sleeps alot in the car when I am running errands. I have read some books and it seems to say that I should not try any methods until he is 4 months, so is this normal? I would like to get some sleep. thanks moms

my little guy is 11 weeks and he just started sleeping long hours through the night in the past week. Before he would sleep for a long time during the day then stay up from around midnight till 5 sometimes 6 am!! The way that I corrected his sleep schedule was to make sure he is occupied through the day. I just recently bought him one of those play mat things and he loves it. He will play with it for at least 45 minutes sometimes an hour. He also LOVES watching bright color cartoons or cartoon movies so sometimes i let him do that. He already has a lot of toys so its not to hard for me to keep him occupied. I also try to make sure he has a routine. He's bottle fed formula and he usually eats 4 oz. (roughly 118 ml) every 3 to 5 hours. Now he only "cat naps" during the day for about 45 minutes to an hour each time. We bathe him around 9:30 and he gets a bottle then is usually to sleep by about 10 or 10:30. Sleeps until 4 or 5 and gets up for about 30 minutes for a bottle and diaper change then is right back to sleep until around 8 or 9am. Also, to the moms having trouble burping while they are trying to fall back to sleep. I too have that problem but I find that if I put him on my shoulder and give him a little tickle on his sides to make him squirm around a little then it doesnt take long to get the burp out of him.

Hi Kylie,
My 8 week old is breastfed and she has a feed between 7 and 8 at night and then usually sleeps till about 4am. She then wakes for another feed and sleeps till about 8. Throughout the day she usually has one 2 - 3 hour sleep and then a few cat naps. She's quite cranky and sleepy between 4pm and her final feed before bed and will sleep but only in my arms for 20 mins or so. Hope this helps. I never know if what she's doing is right either.

My 11 week old is a good sleeper - I so deserve it since my first born was a cat napper and a bad feeder. It's so much easier the second time around! She sleeps 3/4 hour stretches during the day, wakes up for a breastfeed, is up in total for 1 hour and then I put her down for another sleep. This goes on until around 8pm when I give her a bath and she goes down for the night. She has always slept through (I have to wake her for a dream feed as my boobs feel like they'll explode if I don't!). She wakes at around 7:30am and the whole procedure starts again!

My daughter is 10 weeks and 1 day old and she sleeps whenevr she feels like . some days she takes 2 2-3hr naps one in the morning and one in the afternoon. At night she goes down mostly at 12:30am and will sleep the most 5hrs. But she is upredictable some days she keeps a routine for 2 or 3 days then its topsy turvy. I feed her every 2-3 hrs depending on if she is awake, she is breastfed.

Chloe is 10 weeks and sleeps all day and night...! Her ped. says she is absalutly healthy and not to worry. She goes to bed at 9 and sleeps till 4 or 5 then has a bottle of formula and goes back to bed till 8 or 9. Then has more formula and goes back to sleep by 11am till 2 or 3 in afternoon. Then she will wake up very happy and stay awake for a few more hours then its bed time all over again!! I love it because my 2.5 year old son is really acting out since ive been a stay at home mom with him since he was born. His ME time went from 100% to 50% and he is too young to understand I love them both the same..

I was very fortunate. My daughter shas slept through the night for about 3 weeks now. I feed her around 9:30 or so and she sleeps until about 7:30. We also give her an extra ounce of formula if she will take it, it seems to keep her satisfied longer.

My 10 week old tends to fight his sleep for a couple of hours before falling asleep around 11, but then he'll sleep until 5/6 to eat for 30/45 mins then fall back to sleep for a few more hours. He usually takes a good 3-4 hour nap around noon or so and then is up until bedtime. He will usually take an evening catnap of 30 minutes.

Im very lucky my little guy loves a great sleep only ever waking up during the night once since born. From birth i tryed getting him in a routine and so far its worked a dream i put him down around 9 and he doesnt wake up till 6/7 hes been pretty much like that since birth. Patria i read the book Baby Whisperer Solves All Your Problems: Sleeping, Feeding, And Behavior--Beyond The Basics From Infancy Through Toddlerhood ,i followed the EASY routine just changing it a bit to suit him and me and it really worked wonderful and i hope you get the same result if you try it.

Bub who is 12 weeks, has recently gone to full formula feeding, as I have had to formula comp with b/f since day 1. He gets feed around 1030 - 1130pm depending on his day, and then (swaddled) will sleep until 6 - 7am. Some nights are restless, but on the whole he sleeps well. During the day he feed approx every 4 hours, and goes down for a nap in between. These naps usually last 40 - 60mins.

Sammy is 12wks old and is breastfed. I'm pretty lucky he has been sleeping through the night since he was 6 wks old. He goes to bed between 7-8 pm and sleeps until 6:30-7 am every night and he has 2-3 naps during the day for about 30-90 mins. I know I've very lucky :)

We are formula feeding and he has rice 3 times a day. He usually wakes up anywhere from 7-8 am and then goes down for a nap between 9 and 10. He sleeps for two hours and is then up for two hours all day so he has 2 good naps. He then has a bath between 6:30 and 7 pm and then a bottle and goes to bed. He sleeps 8 hours the first time and then about 3-4 the second. It was really hard to get him on a sleep schedule, but we used to Ferber method at 8 weeks, a lot younger than they say too, and he is doing really good now!

I would call my 11 week a catnapper, she takes many 30-45 min naps througout the day. But just this week she has started sleeping at least 8 hours every night from about 10pm to around 6:30am. She doesn't wake to feed, but I feed her every 3 - 4 hours

My son is almost 3 months and is all over the place. I think he is confused with day and night! He can sleep from noon to about 7pm and when it comes to sleep at night he sleeps about three hours only. I'm trying to put him on a routine but he is just all over the place it is hard. He struggles a lot to fall asleep and has days when he sleeps all day or stays awake all morning.

Hi Kylie,

My 10 week old sleeps when he feels like it through the day, has a feed anywhere from 3 - 5 hours in between. He has a bed time feed around 830 - 9pm and goes down in his bassinet ... he doesn't wake up until 4am. He will then have another feed and go back to sleep until around 8am

I'm formula feeding by the way.
