My little girl is also 8 weeks (yesterday) and was 5lbs 15oz at birth. We just came back from her check up and she's an even 10lbs. She's got the little rolls on her thighs and around her wrists...too cute!!

my lil man weighed 7lbs 2 oz at birth, was 6lbs 9oz when we left hospital, now at 10 wks he weighs 11lbs 9oz. the doc said its in the 50th percentile. I started out breastfeeding but he never gained weight, he either didn't gain ne or he lost it for about 3wks, so I switched to formula and now hes gaining weight alot better.

I have you beat! My boy is 8 weeks old and weight 15.10 lbs. He was 8 lbs. 9 oz at birth. He's a chunky monkey :) I even had to start feeding him rice cereal mixed with apple sauce just to appease his appetite. My pediatrician said that there is nothing wrong with how big is he. Just some babies are bigger than others! :) No need to worry!

my son was 2 weeks early and weighed 7.6lbs and was 7.4 when he came home. He's now 12.1 at 7 weeks but my daughter was 7.7 a week late

My little one was 7.14 at birth. At her 2 month checkup she weighed 11.11lbs. She's 10 weeks old now and I think she's at least 12 lbs if not more. She's getting some chunky thighs!!

My little man, which is our fourth, was a premie at 4 weeks early. He weighed 6.7 lbs at birth and at his 2 month check up he was 13.3 lbs. He is a piggy, breast milk during the day and formula at night.

My little Girl was born 9lbs 6 oz. At her two month visit she weighed 12 lbs 15oz. So not quite as big but shes still up there :-) And it helps that my girl is long.

My son was born at 7 lbs., 2 ozs., and at 9 weeks weighed in at 14 lbs., 2 ozs. The thing is that I am only 5'0 and 118 pre-pregnancy and again now, so my doctor said that my son was at the 43rd percentile inside of me because I'm such a small girl. Now that he is outside of me, he's taking on more of his father's size. His daddy is 6'1 and over 200 lbs.

My Finn's a little chunk. 9lb 7oz at birth (no history of big babies in our family and me and my partner aren't overweight or exceptionally tall) he's 10 weeks now but was last weighed at 9 weeks and he was 13lb 13oz. He's been putting roughly half a pound a week on. He's breastfed exclusively so either he's sneaking food into his room on a night or my breastmilk must be made of lard.

my baby girl who just had her 2 month well-baby visit on the 19th of feb weighs 12lbs n 8oz...she was 8lbs 1oz at birth, n just a few weeks ago, i got her weighed at WIC and she was 11lbs 11oz. she's gettin to be a big girl..:):)

Lea was 7.7lbs and 20in long at birth. she was 7.1lbs when we came home 2 days later. and then 2 days after that she weighed 7.14lbs. and now at 7 weeks she weighs 12 lbs even!! and is 23 1/2 in long!! 100% breastfed!!

My little girl was born 7lbs, discharged at 6lbs9oz and 21" long. At 8wks she weighs 12lbs6oz! She's in the 94th percentile for weight. She is now 23" long, which is the 95th percentile!

My little guy was 8lb 14 when born and at 8 weeks he is just over 14lbs. The first 6 weeks i breastfed him but I had Hyper lactation Syndrom( to much foremilk not enuff hind milk) and it was causing him to gain weight fast and be very gassy. We switched to formula and he is a differ baby way calmer and less gass.But yes I ahve noticed the more weight gain since on formula.

my baby boy was 7lb 13 when born. He's 10 weeks now and weighs 14lb 8. I worried that he was gaining weight too quick but my health visitor says he's following his weight centile line perfectly so I'm not concerned. Your baby girl is lovely!!

My chunkamunck was born 30DEC09 and weighed 9lbs 13oz and was 22 in long (bit of a conehead). When we left the hospital he was 9.1 then at his first well baby check he was 9.6 and 21.5in. At his second appt (2 weeks old) he still weighed 9.6 and was 21in (conehead finally reduced to normal ;)) so we had to go back when he was 1 month old to make sure he gained weight- he did as he weighed in at 10.12 dont know length cause they didnt check that as the pedi was only concerned about making sure he gained weight. We go in for his 2mo check up and shots next Friday but Im sure he has put on a bit more weight as he is starting to fit into the 3mo clothes better although they are still kinda big on him. We love his double chin, chubby cheeks and fat thighs! I read that by 4mo the average baby should double their birth weight and triple it by 1 year- guess we will see about that! Hayden is exclusively breastfed also so not sure how much a difference that makes

My Samantha was 6lb at birth. She was a preemie though and when we came home she was 5lb 13oz. Her 8 week check was monday and she's now 10lb. 23 3/4 inch long. Exclusivly breastfed.

my daughter was 7 pds 13 oz when she was born. she is 2 months old now and weighs 9 and a half pds. she used to eat 2 ta 4 oz every 3 or 4 hrs. now she eats 4 oz every 3 ta 4 hrs. im very scared she will become obeseace.
