My little girl started to roll from her tummy to back while she was having tummy time, I was so excited that I started to cheer. Every baby develops differently so I guess we shouldn't compare. She is 11 weeks old.

my son hates tummy time as well. when we were at the drs the other day for my appointment i had him on the exam table and he started rolling over from back to tummy right then and there! it was super cute! he would grab his feet and then roll to his side and then let go of them and that would give him enough umph to go the rest of the way! no tummy to back yet though! he is 4 mo old today!

my son is rolling all sorts of ways lol...from back to tummy and vise versa. then he scoots...so he's almost crawling :)

My daughter just rolled over for the first time. She wasnt a fan of tummy time either but she loves her exosaucer and stands in it all the time. She rolled over from her tummy to back and can almost get onto her tummy again but her arm gets in the way and needs a bit of help.!! Shes 3 months 1 wk old.

my son hated tummy time but is stating to enjoy it he holds his head up really well and has done since about 3 wks old he has been trying to roll from back to belly for a couple of wks now and is often lying on his side but for the first time all by himself he rolled from back to tummy and put his arms out and almost started to crawl!!!

Kyla doesn't roll over yet...but she pulls her legs up to her side and chest and manouvers her arms around like she wants to. Hopefully within a few weeks this will happen. She does hold her head up well though and likes tummy time depending on her mood - lol!

My son LOVES his tummy time .. Has been trying to roll over but not quite there yet ... HE loves to be on his tummy looking around .. but he has been pushing himself forward and backswards..

well when we put our little one to bed on her back we go in her room in the morning and she's on her tummy but neither of us have ever seen her roll over... she hates tummy time when were around so it was a little strange to go into her room and find her like that.. we can't even put her to sleep on her belly she'll cry but something druing the night she ends up on her belly... i think its very strange

my little man doesnt roll over yet but u can c he's tryin because he trys slingin himself 2 1 side but isnt quit there yet. he doesnt mind tummy time and he is very good at liftin his head up in his tummy and also pushin his bum in the air x

my little munchkin doesn't roll over during tummy time (he's definitely not a big fan... but is usually a good sport for about 5 minutes) BUT, amazingly, if he is lying in bed with me he manages to scooch a good foot or so until he is up against me and then he turns so he is on his side facing me :) It's the cutest thing...

Zoie is at 16weeks and still does not roll. have just started her on tummy time though because she had bad reflux till now. When on back she will roll onto side,when on belly she will push her chest up and with kicking will rotate around but not over yet

My little man is 14weeks and until 2 weeks ago hated tummy-time. As soon as he was able to hold his chest up and reach n play with toys infront of him he has been more comfortable in that position. He just rolled over from back to tummy for the first time yesterday but he only does it when hes screaming n throwing a tantrum...haha.

My daughter has rolled from her tummy to her back. I think sometimes she really wants to roll from her back to her tummy. She rocks her self all the way to her side and stays there. So cute♥

Frida rolled över from back to front at 15 w, the other way arond two w earlier. But she seemed to be a bit upset about our cheering around her, so she hasn't really tried again since... I might add that my first baby never really rolled över more than a few times and we were a bit worried about that, but she developed very normally anyway (sitting at 5 m, walking at 11 m etc), I guess she just didn't understand why she would roll over;-)

Shayla is 12 weeks and she has been able to roll from her tummy to her back since 6 weeks. She loves tummy time and has amazing head control and is now attempting to roll from her back to her tummy but has only managed to get to her side so far.. not long to wait i bet...

Cully (aka Pudge, 16 1/2 pounds and 26 1/2 inches long at 13 weeks) goes to his side to get his toes. Yesterday, he was on the counter, with me right there and his brother eating on the other side, anyhow, Cully went to grab his toes and flipped himself right over, knocking his brothers cereal bowl in his lap!!! FULL!!! ps Pudge DETESTS tummy time unless I am reading to him. I can usually get through a board book before he starts to fuss, but he lifts his head off the ground to see the book. He is too heavy to lift his chest yet :-)

My daughter hated tummy time...until about a week ago. I'd let her try every day (usually right when she got sleepy so if she got grouchy I wasn't getting a perfectly happy spunky baby upset) and she used to only tolerate it for a couple minutes. Suddenly, she liked being on the floor on her back much more, and would stay longer. Then a couple of days ago she spent a full 20 minutes in her tummy. Tonight, she rolled over back to front for the first time, did it a couple more times, and on the third rolled herself back onto her back from her tummy. She is 3 & 1/2 mo old. She has always had great strength in her neck also...but really what seemed to make a difference was her ability to grab her feet. I think something about the flexability & stregthening of that muscle group helped her learn how to pick up & roll her hips. Hope that helps! =)

Winter's working on it. She seems to get her legs on one side but cant figure out how to get the rest of her over. it's actually really cute! I admit I was super worried that she hadn't yet... but she will when she's ready right?? As for tummy time, she's pretty good about it. She rubs her face into the blanket though. And when I use her Boppy she keeps her head up pretty good.

Hi, Tyler can roll over from his tummy to his back, he done this for the first when he was about 4 weeks old. He hasn't rolled from back to tummy yet though. At the moment when he is on his back he pulls his legs up and try's to pull his head up, like he is trying to do crunches!!

Bub (would is 3 and a half months old) can roll from his tummy to his back, but not yet the other way. He too hated tummy time, so I got him used to it, but either lying flat on my back, or flat with my head propped up, and I layed bub on my tummy. Every so often I would lay him by himself, and as soon as his started to get upset I would stop. Now he loves tummy time, but he still gets grizzly but this is due to frustration and tired, as he wants to but can't yet crawl.

Finn has rolled tummy to back and was amazed by himself. He'd be able to go the other way too if he'd only fathom his arm needs to be over his head not stuck out. He's just starting to hold toys and put things in his mouth.
I love his laugh more than anything though, everything else will come in it's own time.

My son Dante can roll from his tummy to his back so far. He too has great head control which he's had from the start. Already at the hospital he would ift his head and look around from side to side. He is very strong in general.

My son is 12 weeks and has rolled over a few times. It had only been once until last week when I had him laying next to me on the couch and he just rolled off the couch! Pretty scary but he's fine. Now he's rolling over every time he gets on his tummy!

My baby hates tummy time unless she has her pacifier in her mouth. :-) She has been rolling over since I brought her home, from her tummy to her back, but not back-stomach. :) She has great head control and sits really well when we are holding her or when she is in her bumbo or propped up on the couch.

Same here. Mia hates lying on her tummy and starts crying only a few minutes after we've put her on her tummy, but she keeps her head up and even starts doing some "push ups". She is not rolling over yet, but I can sit her in her little Bumbo chair and she sits with her head up the whole time

My daughter is 13 weeks now and she also doesn't roll over yet. She discoverd this week her fists and tries to put them in her mouth.

When I put her on her tummy, she likes it for a minute or two, but not longer.

My 12 week old daughter has been rolling over on her tummy to her back on her right side since she was about 7 1/2 weeks old. She has just started to roll over from her tummy to her back on her left side. She hasn't even attempted trying to roll over from her back to her tummy.

My son is 3 months old and doesn't mind his tummy time as long as it is not right before nap time or bed time...lol. He started rolling over from his tummy to his back about 3 weeks ago, but only does it when he feels like it which is not often...lol
a little sign of want to roll over from his back to his tummy. He bends one leg and pushys lol it is quite funny to watch. He is full of smiles and is almost laughing but the odd thing is he chuckles in his sleep but not when he is awake....strange eh!

Izabella was 3 months on the 17th of March and loves tummy time and has been rolling over from tummy to back since about 3 weeks old and just started rolling over from back to tummy about 3 weeks ago, it scared me when she did it the first time, because I put her on her back to go to sleep and I checked on her a little later and she was on her tummy. She is also scooting while on her tummy, she gets her knees up under her and pushes.

Cayleigh will roll onto her back when on tummy. Also not a fan of tum-tum time!! If I change nappy or turn her, she rolls over onto tummy.

Leah is 3 months old and she hates tummy time too..she doesnt even try to rool over yet.. she loves to sit and look around but we r still working on balance and she has really good head control..

Hey. My daughter is 3 months and one week and doesnt even try to roll over. She hates tummy time. She has super strong head support and can sit with a little help. She even tried so sit up when in a reclined position. My dr told me not to worry about some babies just do things at different rates. Good Luck!
