Quoting Darlene:
If you have tried every cream, talk to your doctor. There is a liver condition that affects pregnant women, and one of the symptoms is itchy skin. They do a blood test to confirm. It's not extremely serious, but they may need to induce you.
My girlfriend had this with both her pregnancies- its called Colestasis. (sp?) It can get serious if not monotired. She had to be induced at 36 wks both times. It was more serious for her than the babies. But all 3 (one set of twins!) are heathy and happy little boys! And she is well. They monitor your bood for a while after just to make sure there is no permanent damage. Its pretty rare...
My skin is itchy too though and I don't have it. I've been using the Palmer's stretch mark cream. No marks from my first and hopefully none from this one too!
Don't get freaked out, you are probably fine!! =)
