Well my son is growing like a weed! I put him in a new outfit and by the next time he has a chance to wear it it's already to small. He goes to the doctor tomorrow and I am sure he is over 25 lbs!

my son is 10 weeks old now and at his 2 month appointment (he was actually 7 weeks) He was 12 lbs and 24 inches. He was 9lbs 4.6 oz and 22.5 inches at birth,so he never fit into NB clothes,right into 3months right from the start. Now he's wearing 9 month shorts and t-shirt outfits and 12 month onesies and we haven't even hit the 3 month milestone yet!

my daughter will be 4 months tomorrow and she is almost out of 3 to 6 months because of her length she weighs like 14 lbs and is 26 inches long she is very long because my father in law is 6'6.

my son was in NB until he was about 11 weeks. and has been in 0-3 month since then (except for onesies. he's still in NB for those.) he's 18 weeks now.
he's 12 lbs and 22.5 inches long. he's not quite on the percentile chart but he is following his own curve, so the doc says he's fine, just small.
but he was 4 weeks early and my husband and i are both short.

My son is 4 months old. I am not sure how much he ways right now but he was 20" and 7# 12.4 when he was born and is 26 1/2" long now. He wears some 3-6mo but mostly 6-9mo clothes. He goes to the doctor on the 20th so I'll find out then how much he weighs but he's a little chunk for being a breastfed baby. He eats constantly milk or cereal, night and day so I'm sure he's over 25ibs.

My daughter will be 4 months next week and she is wearing 9 month clothing. I think she weighs about 16 pounds, but she is long. She was 25.5 inches at her 8 week appointment (that was 2 months ago!). Most of my friend's babies are a lot smaller than her. I agree with the difference in sizes between brands, it is hard to buy new clothes because I never know what size to buy! And I have learned not to try and anticipate the seasons because I have gotten it wrong every time. She now has a whole bunch of 9 month clothes for fall, and it is about to be summer.

my baby girl will be four months next week and she can still wear select newborn clothes and mostly wears 0-3 or 3months clothes. she was 7lbs 3oz when she was born but never gained the weight back that she lost and it took her a good month and a half to gain any weight really. i hope she stays tiny. my oldest daughter is a month shy of 4yrs old and she is tall and super skinny. she could probably still wear a 2t or smaller in the waist.

My daughter is 4 months old and she is 14 lbs 7 oz and she is wearing 6-9 month clothes! She is also almost 26 inches long, I work in a kids Consignment store and all clothing is different. Circo is big, while carters is Medium, and Gerber is really small! So where she can be in 6-9 mo. in some she can wear 3-6 mo. in others.

My daughter is almost 4 months old and she is in 6months clothes. She is quite a big baby, esp her legs are a bit long...in fact the problem I have is with trousers. I noted however that clothes of different brands vary a lot in sizes so one cannot generalise about the size of clothing our babies are wearing.

My son is almost 3 and a half months and is in 00's. Some big 000's fit him, others just don't want to go over his head or stretch on him at all. He was born 8lb 12 and (3990g) and was weighed the other day and is now 8.1kg. He is a big boy but the dr said not to worry because he is evenly proportioned and not very chubby.

My daughter turned 16 weeks yesterday and we just turned all her drawers over to all 6-9 months clothing, hardly any 3-6 month fit anymore. I know for us, length causes us to change clothes quickly, she's very long.

my son will be 4 months tomorrow and he's wearing 3-6 and 6 months clothes. yesterday i had him in a 9 month outfit, but i'm pretty sure i just shrunk that outfit..lol he supposed to weigh 14 lbs, but i swear the scale at the dr. office is wrong. i carry him around all day, he feels heavier than that...

My 4 month old is wearing 6-9 or 9 depending on the brand. He is in the 94th percentile for length and 80th for weight. He weighs 17 pounds. I feel your pain!

My 4 month old is just now out-growing 3 month sizes, but 6 month clothes seem a bit too big. She is really long! But my son was huge, I think he wore 9 month size clothing about the same time as yours. Dont worry as long as your doc says its ok, as soon as he started walking, he gradually lost his chubbyness!

My son is almost 16 weeks and has been in 3-6 mo for about 5 weeks. He has big feet and long legs like Daddy so we may have to bump to 6-9 month soon. He was 24.75" and 13lbs 12 oz today at his well check which makes him pretty average sized. Good thing cause Daddy was calling him a runt when he was born at 19.5" and 7lbs3oz. Daddy is 6'4" and Mommy is 5'2" so I am glad he is growing so well.

wow, I thought my little guy was big! hes about 16 lbs and wears some 3 month stuff and some 6 month stuff. But when my 20 month old was this age he weighed less and wore bigger sizes, so it really depends on the baby!

My big lad is 4 months and was 9lb 10 when he was born and is 15lbs now........he is quite a big lad. He's only in 3-6 month clothes, but don't think it'll be long untill he's in 6-9, I think it depends on whether you breast or bottle feed.

My daughter is almost 4 months old and she just started wearing 6-9 months. I was concerned that maybe I was over feeding her so I asked my doctor about it and he said as long as she wasn't spitting up A LOT (some spit up is normal for all babies) then she was fine. He said she's healthy and all babies are different so naturally they will be in different sizes.

my son is 3.5mnths and he is wearing 6-9mnth clothing.. i cant wait to see what the doctor says..im always asking my husband if i feed him to much or if he thinks hes to big.. i guess hes just going to be tall like his daddy :)
