my son is 4 months and he started teething at 2.5 months and it was horriable, i tries orajel and tylonal but they only helped for a short time then I was told about the teething tabs and they are what helped for me. I know you said you have used them I'm sorry they didn't work you could ask your doctor a friends of mine was given something by her doc to helpl her son because he was so bad. My son has his 2 bottom teeth for about 2 weeks when they break threw the gums it was the worst for us..

My daughter has been teething for like 6 weeks..it has been miserable of and on especially since she is already colicky. Some babies love the frozen wash cloth...so far chewing on my finger or hers with the occasional drop of tylenol has worked. I am hesitant to use the numbing stuff because the packaging says not to use before 6 months. Most of the teething toys are too big for her mouth. She has a cozy blanket that she loves to be tucked in at naps and bed time. Its really soft....I find myself wishing I had one. I try to comfort her and sooth her with sensory things like low lighting and cozy blankets. Not music.. I will lightly say shhhhhh off and on near her ear and she will usually respond to it. It is funny though at any given time she will try to cram both her hands and her foot in her mouth.

My daughter is also teething, but so far hasn't been too fussy. She does have her moments though. Someone told me to put their pacifier in the freezer for a little bit and then give it to them. I haven't tried it yet,but makes sense. Good luck.

I am having the same problem with my son. He is 15 weeks old and teething the teething rings are just so big they dont fit into his mouth. I have been giving him childrens panadol. I havn't heard of teething tablets. Where are u from? i will have to look into them.

the teething tablets are the only things that have worked for me (hylands brand). She's not doing too bad anymore, but there was about 2 weeks where she would randomly freak out.
I've heard of these baggie-type-things that you can put frozen/cold fruit in and they chew on that... My daughter is just like your son and won't use teething rings or toys.
Also, she chewed on my finger a lot when she first started. Just wash your hands or, if you worry about germs, put one of those rubbery baby toothbrushes on your finger.

My son is 15 weeks old and drools a lot but Im not sure if he it teething or not. I have a close friend that has a 2 year old and an 11 month old and she said she found some stuff called Hurricane Gel you can get from CVS and it works much better than the orajel. Hope this helps :)

my daughter has been teething for about 3 weeks now....tylenol and teething tablets only do so much....u could try baby oragel..but u have to be careful because sometimes that numbs to much and they get choked if they drink anything...my daughter likes to chew on her blankets and frozen wash clothes or my finger

Hi, My daughter is 4 months old and 1 day. She has been teething for about a month and I have found that the best thing for her is to put Baby Orajel on her gums and the immediately give her a cold or frozen wet washcloth. She LOVES chewing on the washcloth, and it also helps her coordination, because I let her grab onto the cloth, and she pulls it to her mouth to chew on it. All I do is wet a baby washcloth, put it in a ziploc, and put it in the freezer or refrigerator to get it cold. Once Emma gets fussy, I give her Tylenol, put the Orajel on, and then immediately give her the cloth, and she is fine! Emma does not like the teething rings, either. But she LOVES the cloth!

I have taken a washcloth and froze it.. when you take it out of the freezer You can scrunch it up a little and make it flexable. My daughter loves chewing on it and it seems to help her. Also I got the mesh net that u can stuff food in and I put icecubes in it. They get very wet on the top half but that seems to have helped also.

My son has been teething for a couple of weeks (4 months on the 15th)... he does like the teething tablets but also frozen baby washcloths!! A friend of mine at work suggested ice chips, his daughter LOVED them, but I have not tried them yet!

My son has every single symptom of teething, but so far no relief. If you come up with something let me know.
