Hi All,

I Know this is probably a stupid question but its beginning to bug me so I said I would ask and see what ye think. I am using avent bottles and all along have been pouring in the water up to the ML mark. At the moment my daughter is on 6 ounce bottles so am pouring in 180ml, however the ml's on the bottle do not equal the ounce's on the other side of the bottle so when I pour in 180ml's of water it actually measures 6.5 ounces. I am now wondering if I am (and possibly have been all along) giving a bit too much water with the mix. What do you think I should go by ML's or ounces?

my formula says 1 scoop per 2 oz of water so i've always gone by the oz. lines.

I use similac sensitive and it says to use 1 scoop per every 2 oz of water... so ive just always went with ounces... hope this helps!

That depends on what the formula tin says you should mix. If for example it says 2 scoops to 100mls then pour 100mls and add 2 scoops to that. If it says 2 scoops to however many ounces then do it that way. My tin uses mls as a measurement the ounces on the bottle are only really a reference for me
