6/9 months, she is very long. I also find that the Carter's outfit are shorter than other brands and shrink a lot faster (poor quality cotton?)

Hi, here in Finland they sell baby clothes not by "months" size but by length, so my baby who is 5.5 montjs old is wearing 70 cms long clothes since he was 4 months old.

ok after reading these replies i now dont think my daughter is huge... lol she is in some 00 and some 0 clothes but she is very long as i am nearly 6ft and her dad is over 6ft.... shes very tall!!!! :)

my boy will be 6 months on june 19..and hes already in 18-24 months...well thats what i buy and he fits most of them........hes tall and has little chunky arms and legs..

My son is long 26in and skinny13.5lbs. He is wearing 9 mo onsies and sleepers, with newborn and 3 mo. pants. We have the kind with the roll down cuffs. He is still wearing newborn diapers (cloth) they say up to 10 lbs.

She is 17 pounds, but 26 inches in length, so she wears 6-9 and has fit into 12 month onesies. It does depend on the maker, every one has a different opinion on sizes. I had onesies that said 6-9 but when I compared it to a 3-6 of a different brand they were identical.

My son is wearing 18 month clothing!! he's a big boy! hes round and tall... 21lbs 27 1/2" some 12 month clothing but those are getting to be too small!

My son is 24 weeks and he still wears clothes from 0-3 months because he is short ( don't blame him because the parents are also short) he also wears some that are 3-6 depends the making of the product but i like it because i don't buy more often clothes because most of them he wears for a long time his brother also is 7 years but wears mostly 5-6 yrs depends!!

my daughter is just growing out of 6-9 months but she is very large for her 5 months of age. yesterday she was wearing a dress for a 12-18 month old but she weighed 9250g 2 weeks ago and is getting heavier. She is long measuring at about 74cm but she is chunky too. I don't think it matters what size your baby is just as long as they are happy and healthy, Some babies are small and some are large you have to look at family gentetics. It's whatever works for you.xx

At almost 6 months, my girl has grown long too. She's mostly wearing 6-9 month clothes. Sometimes she wears things for 12 months though (a tad long, and baggy, but still works, lol.)

my daughter is six months old and still for the most part wearing 0/3 month clothes still. She canwear some small 3/6 month outfits. She is just now starting to outgrow 0/3 but still fits most. My two older childrem grew out of 0/3 right on schedule though. All depends on the child.

Any size from 3-6 in Gap as it tends to run big to 9 months although they can seems a little baggy. Every brand of clothing is so different, but if I could only choose one size to buy for him...it would be 9 month clothes because I like clothes to be on the bigger side. There is nothing worse than tight baby clothes, or tight kids clothes period. Kids and babies are so active, they don't want or need to be restricted!

My son is 6 months on June 2, he wears mostly 6 mos brand and 6-9 month. If they are footed sleepers they're tad on the long side, but the alternative is keeping him in the too snug 3-6 mos footed sleepers. My friend's son was born 4 day's before mine, and he's in 18 mos clothing... he's also taller and heavier than my son

My little man is wearing mostly 9 -12 months I ahve to buy clothes according to his weight 21lbs, he is not fat but has a long body and thick rib area sometimes the trousers are a little long but its the only way to get them to fit

Sounds like the makers of baby clothes need to make clothes a little longer in length. A lot of moms are having troubles with their babies being too long for their clothes.
