My daughter will be 2 on December 31st. I'm trying to find decent priced places to throw her a party when it's cold out. Our home isn't big enough to hold a handful of toddlers and their parents, plus our 8 parents and 3 grandparents. Last year was a little easier but it was only family - no extra kids running around.

Any ideas from you fabulous mom's out there?

My granddaughter turns 2 on Dec. 28th. My daughter's place is too small, so we are having kids over in the morning and family in the evening. We will be having it on Jan 7th also, so no one has to take time off work.

we got a hotel suite to have the party. grandparents are helping with the cost and some guests are bringing stuff..since its to accomadate everyone.plus they have unlimited access to the indoor pool!

My daughter is also 2 on 31st, she's having a pool party at our local leisure centre. They get an hour in the pool and then an hour in the party room which means family who don't want to swim can join us after. We're not having the party until 7th January though as the pool is closed on her actual birthday so we'll just go to a family meal somewhere with a play area.

look online or ask your local information center. Ask at schools closeby they might be able to loan you the use of a hall... or ask at Church if they have a hall or the library. You can usualy find somewhere or what about swimming? Is there a play area close by or a jungle jim Could you higher a hall and then higher an entertainer or a bouncy castle? or just play party games?

What about a place like Bingemans or Funmazing (basically an indoor playground, ball pits and climbing things designed for smaller children). Or maybe a place like build a bear? She might be too young for that though. There is always the option of holding two little parties...one for friends and one for family, that way you might be able to do it at home which would be cheaper and maybe easier with toddlers.
