Hi,

I was just wondering how many other mons are having home births. This is my second pregnancy and i'm so excited that i'm having a home birth. I'm very comfortable with giving birth so that is why i've chosen it.

sadly i've been informaed i amy not be able to have a home birth this time as i've been having some heart issues. I'd be concerned too if it weren't for the fact that no matter how much i stress my body it doesn't send me into palpitations it's always when i'm resting. I may be able to convince them yet, but i'm going to talk to the other midwife, the one i saw today has a habit of cutting me off and making me forget what i was going to say.

Hi Kelina,
I think i'll have a water birth too. I got alot of back labour pains the last time. If you want to do a really interesting and beneficial course, it's called hypnobirthing. i did it the last time and it was amazing. It's basically a self hypnosis course to help with the labour. I really had no labour pain at all. it's an amazing thing to do.

me too! this is my second child, and we're going to try for a water birth at home! most people think i'm crazy, but i just laugh and tell them it's safer for me to have the baby at home than at the hospital! Good luck and congratulations!
