That is very good that means the babies head is in position and ready for delivery! GOOD LUCK!

Don't worry! These trained professionals can feel things in our tummies that we can't! My health visitor used to prod my stomach and say "ooh, that's a leg" or "I can feel baby's head" and other things, but when I prodded all I could feel was mush! It is normal. At your stage in pregnancy they'll be checking to see how the baby is lying inside you so they'll know in advance if it will be a breach (feet first) birth, and when the baby turns etc. If you within a few days of your due date and baby's head is at the top they'll either suggest exercises for you to do to encourage your baby to turn around or they can use their hands to manipulate/push the baby so he/she turns the right way around for birth. It is ABSOLUTELY normal for them to be able to feel what position baby is in. Don't panic!
