Is is a form of reflux? Kaelen had the pyloric stinosis surgery and ever since that trauma he doesn't seem to like to sleep to much on his back. For him to have a good nights sleep i have to put him in the swing first...during the day, he naps tops maybe 20 minutes since he has had that surgery....what could it be? I'm very puzzled since he is my fourth baby and i have never had a problem with my older boys when it came to napping and sleep! Should i let him cry for a while to fall asleep....ahhh!!

If you have fed him and he has a clean diaper on. I say yes. I did that with my 4 month old, and hes learning to soothe himself instead of me doing it all the time. Also, my son wasn't able to hold his head up n his own, but i started to put hm down on his stomach and let him lay on my stomach while i'm laying down as well and it has helpe him develop his muscles. also it has helped him sleep thru the night as well. I say try it just dont put anything in with him that can cause him to suffocate...

i believe they can sleep on their tummy starting from 4 months....thats the time they start to roll over...plus they already hold their heads up.. up to you though

i had one that wouldnt sleep on her back too. as long as he can lift his head up and roll over from front to back i would say try letting him sleep on his tummy. just dont put any blankets or bumper pads in with him. good luck!
