Try meeting other Mom's with kids your baby's age. Lot's of times Mom's groups will form through libraries and community centers. They often meet at these places, other kid friendly places, and even each other's homes. It is a great way to get out of the house and for your child to get out of the house and be in different surrounds too. I am ever thankful to my Mom's group because having an active 3 year old and a newborn I often feel like it is so much work to get out of the house and go somewhere, but having the group gives me purpose, knowing others are looking forward to me being there and it being a specific kid friendly place with other Mom's who share my feelings!

Hi Kelly,
Sometimes I feel like I have cabin fever too. My husband works away on a minesite for 2 weeks at a time, so mostly its just me and my lil boy. When I need to get out, I just go for a walk, or if the weather is not too great, I might just go to my local shopping centre for a coffee or browse around, ANYTHING, just to get out !! You definitely need to get out as you will go crazy otherwise !!
All the best x x

My son is 7 months and I had been struggling with the same thing. My husband knew it too. Recently I joined a Mom's Group at my church and started getting out of the house more. At least once a day. Go for a walk, shop/browse at the mall, find a hobby, go to a park, theres all sorts of free fun things to do in small cities. Sometimes I hand my son to my husband and leave for a while and it helps too. Plan a girls night out with some friends, go get your nails done or a hair cut. Or lock yourself in your bedroom (put the baby in the crib with toys) crank up the music in your room and get ready for a night out with your hubby. Maybe your baby will go to sleep in the car so you two can have some alone time :)
