my baby was 3mnths on the 14th.don't know how to tell if she is ready for a bigger size teat..she still chokes every feed on no.1's.any advice?

My advice... If it isn't broke, don't fix it. Meaning.... if he's doing fine with the one you have been using, keep using it. If he is getting frustrated and you feel it's because he isn't getting enough fast enough, then try the next flow up.

most go slow flow 0+ med flow 3m+ fast 6m+

unless like me if you have avent bottles were its newborn 0+ slow 1m+ med 3m+ fast 6m+



it took me a while to change my sons from slow to med at 3months .. he just would not take it .. so i kept the old teats and every now and again i'd try and use a med flow teat at a feed to see if he could manage with it.

however when i changed him to a fast flow teat he took to it straight away.



but tbh i wouldn't worry just stay with the teat that your baby is comfortable with ..

Until she seems to be getting angry that it isn't coming out fast enough, and she is no longer choking, I wouldn't change a thing.

my son is nine months and still uses the slow nipple, I think it has nothing to do with the age of the baby but what they are comfortable with :)
