Can you use bottled water to mix up a formula feed instead of cooled boiled water? just wondered if this could be an option if no cooled boiled water ready or available.

Bottled water is not regulated and can be full of plastic residues and more pollutants than tap water, not to mention is a total waste of resources. If you cant drink the tap water, filter it with a pur or brita filter. And flouride can be harmful for infants and children at the levels often in flouridated water, but it cant be removed by filtration.

It is an option if absolutely necessary. But boiled tap water is best because it has fluoride in it (which you cannot get from bottled water) which is what they need for there teeth.

Ask your doctor becuase several doctors have told me not to boil water unless for some reason the water was tampered with When you boil the water it takes the nutrients out. I was told to use city water if that was available I use bottled. I always use a filter though on city water(like the brita filters).
