My son had colic for 7 months ( i know it's scary, but most don't have it that long). I was breastfeeding, and pretty much cut out anything that could affect him (milk, gassy foods etc.) Swaddling really worked for my little one, white noise (like a fuzzy station on tv or radio). I found that gripe water really didn't work with my little guy. Showers worked too-anything with noise lol i read that apparently the noise reminds them of the womb and calms them down (so the dishwasher, washer, dryer etc. all work...I was so desperate that I would nurse my little guy, swaddle him, then put him in his car seat on top of the dryer lol). Hopefully some of these suggestion can help!!

I was told that its caused by the troma of coming out. It puts a lot of stress on the spine and could take a long time for it to correct its self. there are a few chyropartics that will see babys i took my four month old to one when he was two months old and it worked. i still take him every now and again but it doesn't go away with just visit. It was one of the greasts moves on my part i have a happy baby who loves to laugh and gigle. now he's teething so thats a diffrent battle. Good luck and i hope it all works out for you.
