Has any one else created a will to state where their child or children would go should both parents die? My husband and I are going on a 3 day vacation w/o our daughter and I feel I need to have this completed. It's really stressing me out. Any suggestions?

Thanks guys! As far as going about it just contact a laywer you trust and they will step you through it. It's cost is $85 here. Thank you so much for your input!

I would do exactly what Jennifer suggested to cover yourselves and try not to stress about it too much or you might be needing it sooner rather than later. I really want to make a will but like Jennifer, i don't really know how to go about it but until i do i will just write a letter with my wishes.

Have a great vacation though, i'm sure everything will go well xx

I haven't created a will yet because I'm not sure how exactly to go about it. I think we're going to find a lawyer to draw it up. In the meantime, I've just written out our wishes for who would be the guardian of our daughter on a piece of paper and had us both sign it. It might not be a legal document per se, but it makes it clear what we would want in the event of our deaths.
