My little sister and I used it when we were younger. I dont remember what halped me get used to it but I would cuddle with my sister or make silly faces and play with it with her so it wasnt so scary. (when we would play with it we wouldnt put the meds in just turn it on so it made the sounds and she could know it wasnt something to be afraid of) good luck!

I USE IT I HAVE ASTHMA AND ITS PROVIDED FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE DIFFICULTIES BREATHING, SHORTAGE OF BREATH, BASICLY LUNG PROBLEMS. WHATS PUT INSIDE IS BASICLY A SUBSTANCE THAT MAKES THE AIR WAYS OPEN UP FOR MORE AIR TO GET IN AND TO BREATH BETTER. SOMETIMES A COMBINATION OF STERIOIDS ARE USE IF STILL BAD OR WORSEN.

I do not have a baby yet, but I work for a respritory company and we sell nebulizers. The best thing to do if you have a mouth piece and not a mask (which does work better for babies) is to just wave it in front his face. It actually helps a little if the lil guy is crying because the breaths he takes are deeper and he gets more of the medicine. Also, if you have a quiet enough machine you can do it while he sleeps. Hope this helps you!! Good Luck!!!!

My daughter used it at about 3 months old, she had a chest infection... I found it hepled to use it in a relaxed environment where they can just lay there and cuddle up to you.. maybe try it just before he goes to bed so he is tird and relaxed...

Both of my kids have had to use a nebulizer. I think my older one was about 8 months old and my youngest one is about 5 months and he's using it currently. Neighter one was ever afraid of it. They always laughed and thought it was a game. I know, Sam, my older son would get tired of it quick so we would sing to him and make it into a game. Sometimes we would pretend we were doing and then he would want to do it because we were. We always did it before his bath too. He loves his bath and if he would get upset then we could finish it up and get him in the tub and he would forget about it.
