yep and its fantastic. One of the best things i invested in for my son. we take ours everywhere....friends places, parks, cafes wherever...we got the tray so it doubles as his high chair. easy to clean n light to carry as well as being good for thier little muscles and posture. He is 9 months and has been using it from 3 months....

I agree, the Bumbo is absolutely fantastic and we take ours everywhere too. Just for such a simple thing as going to the bathroom when you're alone; just bring the seat with and they can sit there and study you when you go. LOL. And it's not expensive either, I bought mine on craigslist.org for only $20 (tray included) and it so easy to clean & disinfect.

Look at consignment stores like Once Upon A Child. That's where I got my daughters. My cousin bought it because she thought it would be good to have. I only had my tax money to spend so I was trying not to get too many expensive things. I think my cousin paid between 10 and 20 dollars for it. It has a tray too. I think it will be good in the long run I can use it for her first high chair when she starts eating.

thats good but because im from the uk id have to pay postage and packaging and they are about £65 here.

£65 for a bumbo?? im in the uk too and have never seen one priced that high!! the shop you saw it in must be having a laugh! i got mine from argos for about £30.. my daughter could get out of hers from 5 months but always arched her back from about 4 months.. she wont stay in it at all now. i think it was a total waste of money :( .. stuff4sale here we come!! lol

Hi, i dont have the bumbo brand i bought one which is pretty much the same thing when i was comparing in store- i think the brand is safety first, its bright green and blue and also can be used as a booster seat in an adult chair later as itcomes with harness straps and straps for the chair - thats what made me choose this one over the bebe pod and bumbo

A friend of mine has one and loves it! She says her son can sit in there and do anything. I guess since so many people rave about it, I'll have to get one.

My little girl is starting to love it - sometimes she just wants to move though and gets upset when she can't move around. I love the bumbo for doing her hair though!

my little girl looooooves her bumbo. I used to have her sit in it when i was in the bathroom getting myself ready or when i was ironing in the spare bedroom...she loved it. sat in it and played with all her toys around her. she's 1 years old now and is too big for it...but well worth the money...helped her learn to sit up early too

We got one for our little one she has a love hate relationship with it. Some days she doesn't want to get out of it some days she screams when I try and put her in it. I find it's convenient if your taking them for play dates but right now we aren't using it a whole lot at home. My friends swear by it but I think it depends on your baby really :)

i love it, my daughter is a little hefty though, she gets stuck in the bumbo chair, so i got a Prince Lionheart BeBe Pod, same thing but more room!! it came with a tray and a toy that attaches to the tray

We have the one that has the watermelon design on the tray...my 18 week old can be content just staring at the design for about 10 minutes, and playing with a toy on the tray for another 10...20 minutes is her limit so far, but she loves those 20 minutes and it gives Mommy time to do a few quick things around the house :)

i have one for my son and he loved it till he was about 6 months old, then all he wants to do is just roll around on the floor and try to crawl....but i do take it to my sisters, parents and friends house and he will sit in it and i have the tray for it and he will eat supper in it.....it is light, protable and i only spent about 40 dollars on the seat and the tray together.....there is a pic of it under my sons part of the profile....

I was so excited to get one as a gift, but my son hated it! He's never sat in it for more than 30 seconds because he starts bawling right away! Hopefully baby #2 will like it, whenever there is a baby #2!

Yeh, my sister-in-law told me about them and they are great. I have one for our boys. One of them really likes it and the other one isn't too bad. They are 5 months and have been using it for a month or so already. They just need head control.

I borrow one from my sister who swore it was the best thing she'd ever used - I didn't get on with it at all and didn't like that it gave no head support.

Do you know someone you could borrow one from and see if you like it before you pay out the money? Or you may find one on e-bay for cheaper?

I have one, I put my 6 wk old in it occasionally starting when she was 1 month. The first time she was wonderful and sat in it and held her toy and try eating it. Now, she won't touch it starts screaming when we try to put her in it. That's just because she's spoiled, lol. I think she'll do it more as we keep trying. She didn't like tummy time at first, now she does (for short periods).

yes, i found out about the bumbo through another thread on COM. It was expensive but my son enjoys sitting in it, i don't know if it was worth the 80 dollars really, he prefers to sit in his highchair now hes 7 months, if i go get the tray to go with it he may be able to sit in for longer and play with his toys and have a snack...i take it when we go visiting and for dinner but he always ends up being held by me or someone else:p

Yes! My daughter loves it. She's 4 months old and has been using it for about a month now. People always comment on it when they come over.

i loved mine!!! i saw my son sitting in one at the little day care they had at the gym, and went straight out to buy one afterwards! but he did seem to grow out of it fairly fast, but by that point he was sitting on his own. i took it camping with us so we could just put him on the picnic table to eat. worked very well (and don't worry, i didn't leave him alone on the table :P )

Yep I got my daughter one a few weeks ago and she likes it. She's 4 months and has great head control so she can sit in it happily for up to 30mins while I get things done around the house. After that she tends to want to get back down on the floor and roll around :) I find their portability useful too.

My daughter loved hers at first, but she seemed to grow out of it really quickly. She would straighten her entire body to try and get out after being able to use it for maybe a month or so.

I love mine. I know there are other brands, but I love that's it's squishy foam :D Can't use it anymore, my son is 1yrs old and he tips it over to crawl out of it. When he was younger though we used it almost every day.

Yes I love ours! I have four children and only had one for the last one. It is being borrowed from a friend. I think that they are great! He likes it so that he can sit up and play and see, and I take it to family dinners and holidays to use as a high chair.

We have one, my son is only 3 weeks old, so he can't really use it yet cause he can't keep his head up all the way, but my nephew used it when he was able to keep his head up and he seemed to love it. We usually put him in it and scooted it around on the floor like a car for him to stay interested in it and he would laugh the whole time, but it did help him learn to use his back muscles.
