babies eat what they want to eat, if they eat a lot from one bottle or a little from another that's alright, but if there not eating at all then there's a problem. I wouldn't worry to much but if you have concerns i would ask the doctor.

As long as hes gaining weight, having plenty of wet nappies and poops in the week theres no worries.

My sons 4mths and still wont eat more than 5oz at a time but do have to do this every 3 hrs. Up to 3mths was only 4 oz every 2 hours but the health visitor said this was fine and his grow chart looks ok.

I agree with all of them, as long as he is gaining the proper weight and seems satisfied. It's not good to overfeed your baby. My daughter does the same at times and I just feed her till she won't eat anymore. They let you know when they are hungry. My daughter is almost 3 months and usually drinks 6 oz every 4-5 hrs . Sometimes she'll eat less and then there is sometimes she eats even more at the next feeding.

Hayley, I was the same way with my daughter. I didn't worry about it. I fed her what she would eat and she gained the weight that she needed. After about a month of her doing that I asked her doctor and he said as long as she is eating and gaining weight I had nothing to worry about. I wouldn't worry about it unless his doctor is worried or he stops eating all together or stops gaining weight. :)
