High Chair Recommendations

[deleted account] ( 3 moms have responded )

My daughter is 5 months old. I haven't started solids yet and I'm not sure when we're going to, but I would like to have a high chair for her. I want her to be able to sit up at the table with us because she likes to be up high so she can see everything. For when we start solids, I want one that's easy to clean. What high chairs do you recommend?

We bought the Fisher-Price Healthy Care Deluxe Booster seat and love it. We use it with every meal at the table. It is super easy to clean with no crevices for food to get trapped. I've taken it on several trips as well (packed in a suitcase). I can't say enough good things about it.

Due to tight spaces in military housing, my husband and I got the Space Saver high chair from Fisher-Price. It's a high chair that straps to any kitchen chair with a back. It even works on folding chairs. I know that because we take it to church with us for meal gatherings. I haven't broken it down yet, but it turns into a booster seat. We got it when my eldest was just a few weeks old and now our second child is using it (hence the reason it hasn't been turned into a booster). This chair also goes into a full recline so if/when you have a second child you can use it right away with the newborn. If for no other reason, I would get it again because of the full recline.
