what do i do when she won't drink from a bottle? cause when i leave her with a babysitter for a couple of hours she won't eat for them out of the bottle. but when i go pick her up she eats like been starving. what can i do for that? like in the beginning she would drink from one becuse i was having a hard time with my milk coming in but now she absolutely refuses to drink from one.

My little girl doesn't like the botle either but i did get her to take it for a while (silly me didn't keep it up and she wont take it again) but what i did was put her on my breast first and when she broke off close to starting before she could latch back on i shoved the bottle in her mouth so she realise that thats what it was for.
give that a go, may need to do it 2 or 3 times but then your baby should be ok

Just try all sorts of teats until you find the one she likes, and make sure you try different flows. Also maybe leave your babysitter a shirt of yours to wear so that she smells like you? Strange i know, but my friend swears it worked for her when she had to leave her son.

I had the same problem with my son. I tried a couple of different bottles before I found one he liked (playtex wide nipples). I think the trick is just to keep trying to get her to take the bottle at least once every day. If possible have someone else feed her the bottle or if you are feeding her, feed her in a different position than the breastfeeding position.

I have been having the same problem...I found my son likes the Playtex with latex nipples (the old school drop-in liner kind). BUT if you are in the U.S. look for Breastflow by The First Years. I did some research and they have a special technology that releases milk like the breast. Unfortunately they are not available in Canada or I would get em in a heartbeat. Another one I tried is Heinz Adiri (it literally looks just like a boob). Hope it helps...and good luck :)

try a bottle that is like the breast and try to give her a bottle once in a while so she know it means food cause all she know your her food source not that bottle so try and let me know what happens
