I would say keep trying and don't give up he will eventually get used to the bottle. I agree with the previous posts, try different nipples or even bottles and try putting a shirt you've worn on dad's chest so your baby can smell your scent.

ohh i forgot to say u can try putting some of your breast milk on a blanket or cloth or your hubbys old t shirt and get hubby to put it on his belly or wear it, where bubbys head rests while he is bottle feeding, bubby will be able to smell your milk and mite just think its you, i havent tryed it myself but ppl say it works :))

When I tried to give my son a bottle he wouldnt take it at all. Even when my SO tried. We ended up giving the bottle to his daddy and I had to leave the room and experiment with different nipples. Keep it up it really can work. Good luck!

that is very normel babys know where milk comes from and it sure isnt there dads, all i can say is he will get used to it and dont give up, it can be very new and uncomfortable for a dad who has not fed a baby before and babys can sence it, your hubby may not feel uncomfortable but inside he is thinking.. am i doing this rite/what if i do something wrong..and why is bubby crying dosent he/she like me,it mite be a good idea to make sure hubby is realy relaxed before giving bubby a bottle in a nice comfy chair and has everything he needs to feed bubby let him know its ok if bubby is crying its not u its just something new that bubby needs to get used to.my son was the same and was only breast fed for a few weeks so i can imagine how mutch harder it is for you, just keep trying and dont give up,keep telling yourself and hubby that you are doing the best you can and keep your sprits up :) good luck bubby will get used to it
