How do you confront someone who teaches their children to swear?

Instead of yelling at her son my cousin would talk normal yet cuss her child out because she said that he can't understand her and it helps her relieve her frustration. Now he cusses.

Oh my! When my godchildren were small we didn't use profanity in the house and asked visitors to refrain as well . To be a softer blow I would explain to people look-they repeat everything and do not yet know what are "bad" words and what are "good" words and until they are old enough to know the differance lets just use the "good" ones lol. No one seemed to get upset over it and I would remind them if they slipped-it's my huose, right? I do NOT understand people who find humor in their childrens profanity. I can't stand hearing small children cursing or "smartmouthing" adults. Do we feel come lately being a friend is more important than being a good parent, teaching manners and appropriate behavior? I'm not "PC" lol do it in my house there are consequences. Bring your kids over and you will be asked kindly to please observe our rules.

That's awful! Babies are constantly learning and growing. We don't know at what point they are capable of picking up our bad habits. They learn to imitate us long before they know what it means. I wouldn't want my child's first word to be a profanity.

Yes, I don't understand her. I know the baby can't understand her yet I don't think that that is the right thing to do!!! She is cussing her son out yet in a nice tone so that he doesn't know she's upset yet she's done it so much he is calling people Bs and saying Sh**
