My 3 month old is going to sleep around 10:30. He wakes up to be fed (breastfed) around 3 ish. He goes back to sleep and wakes up again around 6 ish to feed again. He goes back to sleep and than I wake him up around 8:30 to get ready to leave.

I wold have to say the majority of the moms on here are surprisingly lucky. My son is 6 months old and has never been a good sleeper. He barely slept the first 3 months and we thought we were losing our minds. He was diagnosed with colic caused by dairy allergy and acid reflux. We went through about 4 types of medicine before we found the one that worked for him. But he's never been great about napping or sleeping through the night. The only time he has ever slept well is when he's in bed with us and we try very hard not to encourage that. We had about one week of normal baby behavior where he slept through the night and took 2 two hour naps in the morning and afternoon. Never been so jealous of all you lucky moms!

Thank you to all of the mom's that responded. I would like to know if the one's that responded are breastfeeding or bottlefeeding. That does make some of a difference. If you are breastfeeding, are the babies taking naps during the day?

my 3 month old daughter goes to bed around 9 or 10 and wakes up around 4 or 5 am depending on when she had her bottle before bed. i know breast fed babies are fed more often, but i wasnt able to breastfeed, so i had to do formula, but it keeps her fuller longer. i think that once they are adjusted to a normal day and night schedule, they sleep better at night also. we had a hard time getting her adjusted to that. but now all is good and we are all getting the sleep we need.

Hi i have a boy, who is now 5 months, and has slept from 7pm to 7am since 3 months old, up until about 4 weeks ago, i would dream feed him about 11pm, to top him up till the morning, but now gets all his milk requirements during the day.

I also structered him into a routine, and he has 3 naps a day. He is bottle fed, and usually breastfed babies will always wake more often during the night for feeds.

So dont be disheartened he will get there, just keep going, ur doing well.

My girl is 2 months old. She goes to bed around 11:30 (on a good night...sometimes it's 1am haha), wakes up around 4:30-5:00am to be fed. Goes back to sleep until about 9.

My nine month old sleeps from ten pm to about one, wakes to nurse, then sleeps from then until probably four, wakes to nurse, then wakes again to nurse at six, and then wakes at eight.

But it really doesn't affect my sleep because I just latch her on, and go back to sleep. Heck, one time I woke to find that she had latched herself on while I was sleeping and was nursing happily away.

Geez. My son is 5 months old and he still wakes up every 2 hours at night to feed or just to be held. I can't wait to get at least 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

I think at 11 weeks (about 3 months) my son was in bed at 7pm and i gave him a dreamfeed at 10.30pm and he slept thru till 7am...he just refused to feed thru the night any longer,we would offer and he would refuse so we let him sleep. He is now 11 months old and still sleeping 7-7.....hoping it stays that way!!!

Gosh my boys never did anything like that at 3 months. They were still having a couple of feeds through the night.
