3 days... after that I would try light kayro in her bottle. One Tablespoon in one of her day time bottles. It will help...

My daughter has "going" issues as well. At one going she was going 4-5 days without no. 2. I also would worry. My ped said that adding oatmeal to her diet and trying some jucie might work. I can hardly get her to drink juice. Prunes always works for her. I mix it in with oatmeal, give it straight, or mix it with yogurt based (if old enough - 6 months or later). I think she is just a slow goer. My ped also said bananas are binding so don't give too many of those. A warm bath or the dreaded thermometer method have also been successful. Good luck. A week is not good and you should take her in to the ped. if this occurs on a regular basis.

I have two little boys now 5 and 3 (almost) the five year old did #2 every time i fed him, every nappy was dirty every time i changed never just wet. Then the second child, went for 5-7 days without #2, when he did go it was a very full nappy, but it was just how he worked. Completely different to big brother - just to throw you i think- All the early childhood nurses and doctors just told me a newborn can go up to 15 days with out a poo. AMAZING. They do so many strange things, these babies if only they were made from glass so we could see what was going on inside

I had the same problem with my little one and I even took him to the ER as I thought he had a blockage. He is now 12 weeks and all of a sudden he is now going at least once if not twice a day. So your bub may grow out of it in the next few weeks. The doctor told me that there have been recorded cases of babies not going for up to 30 days (one very big diaper change) and said that they are still reasonably inefficient at using their bowels and it takes some babies a little longer to get the hang of it. I hope it doesn't last too much longer as I know how uncomfortable it can be for them. Massaging their tummy and doing a bicycle motion with their legs can also help get things moving.

You can always try kayro in her bottle, you can either put a little in each bottle or put 1 tablespoon in 1 bottle per day. This will help your little one with her poo problem :)
