Our guy doesn't burp much at all after he eats. Sometimes we'll get a couple, and occassionally we'll get a huge one, but usually we don't get much at all. I'm not sure if he just doesn't have to, or if its all turning into gas. He does seem to be gassy sometimes...

my boy doesnt either, sometimes not at all. I think it is from breast feeding, because i know formula fed babies burp alot... are you breastfeeding?

i agree. i breastfed my last child. and he didnt burp nearly as much as my bottle fed children. they are not getting all that air.

I think it depends on how much air they are ingesting. My little guy always had bigger and more burps if he drank from a bottle as opposed to nursing.

my son is 8 weeks old he started burping at about 3-4 weeks of age. If he is gassy then it's good, i find if my son farts instead of burps he is content but if he doesn't do either after a feed he tends to be uncomfortable till he does either a burp or fart.
