My daughter is 10 weeks old and I was wondering how much formula should she be taking at a time? I've been giving her no more than 6 ounces but i want to make sure I'm not over feeding her.

Take her weight (in pounds) and multiply that by 2.5. That will give you the number of oz your daughter should be eating in a 24 hour period. As long as she is eating around that number of oz then she should be fine.

My daughter is 4 months and on average will have around 6oz per feed however sometimes shel only take 4 to 5 and other times will guzzle 7 so I go with what she wants.

I agree you are doing it right, at the end of the day you will know if your baby wants more or less they will let you know so you can't go wrong just keep doing what your doing hun :-)

my daughter was on 4 ounces until 8weeks then i uped her to 6 ounces then at three months she was put onto 7ounces.
shes 8months now and is happy with 7ounces still....they let you know when they had enough...and if they are being little piggys then they will just be sick because they are too full

I think that you are right on. They say babies will increase by 1-2 ounces a month but she'll let you know when she's full. She'll spit it out.
