Depends on his weight. Roughly two and a half ounces of milk per lbs of body weight. if he is 10lbs in weight he will need roughly 25 ounces of milk in 24 hours. If he is breast fed and gaining app. 2 to 5 ounces per week you are doing well. Some babies feed 2 to 3hourly daytime but then sleeps longer at night

idk how its done when you breastfeed. but my lil one is almost 2 months and she eats anywhere between 3-4 oz every 2.5-3 hours. during the night i don't get up with her unless she cries to eat. and at night i just give her 2 oz cuz she usually passes out on the bottle.

my daughter eats 4oz every 3-4 hours. that's what the doctor told me to do at least.

My daughter fed every 2 and a half to 3 hours during the day, but she was sleeping through the nite at 7 and a half weeks, so I think she was filling up for the overnight. She was breastfed on demand though, no routine. So not sure wat formula feeds are but I have heard the babies dont feed as often.
