My 8 month old has just started to bite and im not sure what to do about it. I have just been telling him no. Is there something else that works?

Hes too little to be spanked and im definetly not going to bite him back.

My son is 11 months old and he had a biting stage that he went through when he was about 8 months old.....he would bite my shoulder if i was holding him, or bite my toe if i was sitting on the couch.....i would just say no biting its not nice, and put him infrount of a toy that he likes to play with....he doesn't bite anymore and i think that the stage only lasted a couple months.....good luck and as Sara said, if they don't get the reaction they want they will stop....

Don't make a big deal out of it. Kids love attention, even if it's negative, so you have to just tell him "No Bite" and sit him down, then move on. Eventually, if he's not getting the response he wants he will stop. Good luck!
