My daughter was born 3 months ago. I had regular bleeding after and when that quieted down I spotted everyday. I got a regular period end of Sept-beg of Oct. Since then, I will spot one day and the next bleed heavily. Bright red and sometimes clots are in the mix on heavy days. Is this normal or should I see a doctor? Anyone know why this is happening?

no i don't think that's normal. i got an iud when my son was 2 months old. i had stopped bleeding about 3 or 4 weeks after he was born. when i got the iud i did spot/bleed for about 10 days but it was by no means heavy. i would talk to your doctor about it for sure.

Not Normal! You need to speak with your doctor about this. They can give hormones to stop the bleeding. My concern would be that your hemoglobin and hematorit could be low (anemia). In some women this occurs because the whole placentia was not removed. In others its just a matterr of slow recovery. Either way it warrants investigation.

I am the same. I had a baby three months ago and I am still bleeding sometimes with clots. Once the clots are not bigger than a golf ball you should be ok. My doc said this can happen. I went back on the pill at my 6 week check up so he put it down to that.

i had that with my first daughter, I was on the pill so changed it and it stopped, could that be the same for you. but I would get it checked out by the doctor either way.
