I always thought you should be ovulating within a few days of your period? In fact that's how we got our now almost 6 month old twins...I've also actually heard on TLC that if you eat sweat potatos or yams (aren't they the same thing?) that it can help you ovulate. Good luck!

dont try so hard....when the time is right it will happen..perhaps ur trying too hard, your putting pressure on yourself and its obviously not working...relax and take things one step at a time and it will happen when your body feels its ready....good luck!!

i can understand what your going through because i'm in the same situation i have a son and had no problems falling pregnant and now it's been 8 months i have been to the doctors and i have a overactive thyroid this can mess up our system i even had a period for two months so it's better to go to the doctors where they can help you and may beable to give you a kick start it's better than feeling frustrated and getting upset with ourself it can even be your hormones so good luck i feel the same .xoxoxo

See a chiropractor. You my be out of alignment. Sounds funny I know, but it worked for me. My L3 was out of alignment which is related to the nerves connected to your sex organs. After trying for 3 years I finally got pregnant after going to the chiropractor regularly 3 months later.

I agree with going to the dr. It could be something as simple as not timing your ovulation right, or maybe you're not ovulating regularly. I had this problem & had to take clomid to make me O. I conceived my dd my 2nd month on it! Good Luck to you!

It took us 6 years to get our 3 year old daughter and another 2 years to get our other daughter. (She was just born in August) Honestly, keep trying but do not try to hard and have sex every other day or every other day the week of ovulation. That's how we got pregnant with our 2nd daughter. Good luck and I know how frustrating it can be!

Sometimes getting a nap in the middle of the day, and attacking your hubby when he comes home helps a bit! My hubby was working the graveyard shift, and somehow we made it work on his day off! I even know the day we got pregnant! I might also help if you stop "trying" to have a baby, and start going for more of the fun of it all. (being intimate).

My husband and I had trouble concieving our first, and according to my doctor at the time she gave me a few tips.

If your a coffee drinker, quit, slowly, but quit.

Wait to have intimate time with your husband any where from 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 weeks after your period, and make sure he doesn't self serve. The build up of stuff on his side can make it easier to get to the egg.

Change your eating habits to healthier ones. You may already be a healthy eater, just change it up a bit, as well as your excersize regimine.

After doing those things, it took 2 months to get pregers.

Hope this helps!

Oh, and thier all right, ask your Doc.

I used to worry too, when I was trying to just get Preg with my first. My Dr told me finally one day...."Stop trying so much and just enjoy and relax, it will happen once you stop thinking about it." You know what? He was 100% correct.

I think you should ask your doctor. He/She should have at least a few options that you could try to help you conceive again. It's better to go sooner than later...your baby will come sooner if you get help sooner. Good Luck =]

i had problems concieveng my daughter we tried for years then my husband got tested and he was fine then i got tested and they found out that i do not ovulate on my own so they had to do blood work and give me pills every month after i had my period. they said it would take only about 3 mths then o should be pregnant if we have sex on the dates they told us and i took the pills when i was suppose to. but 8 mths later we were about to give up and finally we became pregnant. so i wouldnt be scared about asking your dr i am very young in my early 20's and even i have problems concieving a baby. the pills they gave me were called "clomid".. just ask your dr.

Quoting Emma:

well i no it sounds silly but i am scared case there is sum thinck wrong ever one is telling me it will happen in time maybe i want it to much

well ask, if it were me I would rather know if there is something wrong, and i don't think any woman or mother can want a baby too much.

What worked with me is trying two weeks before you would normally start your period. It's worth a shot!
