You poor poor love. I lost a baby at 24 weeks, so I feel your pain. The difficulty is that unless you get professional help, you'll just get smothered with well wishers saying things like "its all for the best", or, "you should jsut try to get pregnant again, then it will be ok".

The truth is, IT IS NEVER OK. You learn to deal with it (and all the idiots who offer stupid advice) but, it will be sad for you forever. It doesnt mean however that you cant get on and have other babies and be happy - I now have a 9 month old, and he is the light of my life.

See a counsellor, or probably better (what I did) is see a psychologist who is trained to deal with the guilt and other emotions that you will be feeling and feel in the future.

It will get better. Good luck to you

I am sorry to hear about your loss. Your best bet would be to seek some form of therapy if you think it will help. I am sure anybody will be open to listening to you and just letting you vent. Its not easy, especially when you were that far along. My first thought is to not blame yourself, there was probably a medical reason why you lost the baby and even if the baby made it full term it might have been a diffucult labor and/or a diffucult time raising him. I am not a religious person but i do believe in the idea that if something like that happens, it might have been for the best. Whatever you do, dont blame yourself. The best thing you can do is just talk to someone about how you feel and try to accept the fact that it happened. The doctors not being able to help him probably wasnt something you wanted to hear but unfortunately he might have been too small to be able to save, considering his body was nowhere near developed as a baby who is further along in terms. *hugs* I hope this helped
