Alright, call me crazy. My daughter is 3 months old. Is it normal for an infant to snore while their sleeping? Or could that mean it may be some sort of breathing problem?

I have three children and all of them have snored from birth, they are all fit and healthy. If you are worried about it you could try flushing her nose with a saline solution which will clear any obstructions. Hope this helps x

my little boy has a cold at the moment which is causing him to snore badly.

i wouldn't worry too much since many people snore lol. i'd still maybe ask my gp if it was normal though.

I wouldn't be concerned about snoring itself. In combination with ear infections or throat infections there may be a problem. Some baby's adenoids are too big and can cause snoring and they will out grow it as they get bigger. My daughter snored from the moment she was born with no issues. My son never snored and had to have tubes put in his ears. I wouldn't worry unless there is another symptom.
