My baby doesn't talk yet, but she makes the same sounds in her sleep that she does when she's awake. She will even let out one loud scream, then be silent. lol. She even stretches and kicks in her sleep. The first week we had her home (she was 3 weeks old at the time) her daddy kept telling me to check on her because he thought she was awake. We think it's cute.

Quoting Stacy:

As for her roling around, at this point she is probably in a phase of her sleep known as the REM cycle. This is the part of the sleep cycle when your daughter is in a light sleep.

actually, you're pretty much paralyzed during REM sleep. but yes, there are sleep phases where movement is common. :) it's normal. no worries. :)

Sarah dont be alarmed with this. What your daughter is doing is subconsciously going over the things she learnt during that day and in the past few days. many children do this, it is basically them practising the skills they have previously learnt. As for her roling around, at this point she is probably in a phase of her sleep known as the REM cycle. This is the part of the sleep cycle when your daughter is in a light sleep. Everything you have asked about is normal. If you are still concerned speak to your child health nurse but i think you will find it is nothing to be concerned about.

I hope this helped
