Kids first time flyers

[deleted account] ( 2 moms have responded )

Hi all, we are taking a trip in February the flight is about 2 1/2 hours I'm not concerned about the 3 1/2 year old just the my youngest who's going to be just over 12 months. My eldest will have the TV and colouring books but has anyone got any suggestions on entertaining the younger one in flight and I've heard giving her milk during take off and landing helps with the ear popping as the sucking prevents it.

bring snacks,... I suggest buying a new little something to give to the child not until you are in flight to play with...and try to walk the little one around the airport as much as possible..exercise is best to tired your little one

Talk to your doctor to see what you can do!! My mother in law flew from Germany to Maine with a 6 month old and she gave him a little bit of benadryl .. Talk to your doctor first before giving your 12 month old anything!!
