My son is 3 weeks old, and literally every time he urinates, he leaks all over himself and his clothes and whatever/or whomever he's on. Any suggestions about how to rectify this problem? I have tried multiple diaper sizes and brands with no luck. Just looking for some clothes washing relief!

I have the same thing happening with my son. We just have to constantly check him and change him often. I've tried about 4 brands and it happens to all of them. It does help to turn his penis downwards and to make sure the elastic part around his legs are secure.

The Luvs brand is one of the more absorbant brands. My son would leak when his diaper was getting to be the supposed "right size" for his weight. I found that I had to really check him a LOT! a baby should be checked every hour anyway, but my son was more often than that. He always wore diapers a size bigger, and now his undies are the same way. He was just "blessed" with a lot of anatomy in that area! If it seems like he's just going too much and nothing is making it better, talk to his doctor. Maybe the pediatrican can give you some tips or, knows what can make it better.

Have you tried putting those plastic pants on over the top, the ones they use (or used to use) with reusable nappies? That may help contain leakage and stop it getting any further!

Did you pull the tabs of the diaper together, over each other, in front? It looks like it is really tight on them, but it is the only way to stop them from leaking.

Have you been pointing his penis downwards when putting on the diaper? That's the first thing that comes to mind.
