Also babies hit a growth spurt at 3 and 6 weeks. My son ate so so so much a couple days before he was 3 weeks, and again when he turned 6 weeks. If you really think she is eating too much, try burping her and giving a pacifier. If that doesnt work and she still wants to feed then feed her. Babies will spit up if they over eat. There have been times i felt my son was eating too much but hes on track with his weight so when hes hungry and showing me that i just let him eat :) Some days i feel its the only thing i get done all day, other days he doesnt eat much...i just follow his lead. But i would not introduce cereal!! If shes bottlefed u can give her some @ 4 months, breastfed-6months.

She is too young for cereal. Babies suck for comfort. So if you put a bottle in their mouth, they will suck. Have you tried a pacifier? She is very young and still new to the environment, the sounds, the smells etc. It's scary for her because she is used to her warm, cozy home in your belly. Try swaddling and shushing. Take her into a dark/quiet room when she gets fussy, it may be because she's overstimulated.
