It may be because he is teething...but I have a 14 month old who bites CONSTANTLY. It he mainly bites me, and sometimes I am just scared to hug him because he bites me. I have researched how to deal with this because we do laugh at him, but it truely hurts. My son does it in a manner in which he thinks its funny, so we have tried another approach. We make it a point to yell NO and then say something like "that hurts mommy" and just express to him that it is unacceptable behavior. He does still bite, but not NEAR as often, and we have only been doing this for about 2 weeks. At your sons age it may be easier if you havent really had to "discipline" him yet, because he will be surprised to get such a negative reaction out of you. Hope this helps :)

Is he teething? I dont think a 6mth old could actually know that what he is doing is bad? Maybe he's getting a reacction to it at day care? What are these other kids doing? As in are they poking their fingers in his mouth? When you put him to bed what is he biting? You? Does he have a dummy? Little monkey xx
