She wants real people food but since she only has 3 teeth she is limited and there are certain textures you doesn't like. Spaghetti is one of them. Any advice? Should I be worried. I dont think my 2 year old went thru this at this age

My son only has 1 tooth and it's not all the way in. He is eating just about everything we are. fruit, beans, chicken, beef, ham, crackers, egg yolks, (they say not to use the egg white yet). He lets me know if he doesn't like it by starting to play with his food and I make sure that it is only enough to fit into the palm of my hand. Good luck

My daughter quit eating baby food at 9 months old as well. She refused to eat it. She is now 11 months and eats EVERYTHING we eat. The other night she ate a hamburger and mixed veggies. You shouldn't feed her peanut butter until she's over a year- just reading some of the foods one of the other mom's mentioned. When I spoke to my doctor about her not wanting to eat he just told me to start her on what we were eating. Since she's started eaating what we have she's really started to put on weight (which is a good thing because she's always been on the small side). I would just try her on the stuff your having and see where it goes. Good luck:o)

My daughter did the same thing. She didn't like the baby food when she got a taste of real food and could chew things. I resorted to making my own baby food. I would buy canned veggies and use my masher to make them squishy but still with some texture. She loved it and she still got her vegtables

She can eat scrambled eggs, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches cut into small pieces, small cubes of cheese, banana pieces, sliced canned carrots, green beans and sweet potatoes........even meat loaf and chicken breast cut into small pieces......... I wouldn't worry about it, she's quite old enough to eat "real people food". Baby food is "real people food", it's just pulverized. As long as what you give her is soft, she should be just fine eating it.
