My daughter is lactose intolerant and has soya milk so weaning her was easy for me...the formula was horrid, but the soya milk is sweeter so once she had the alpro soya she never looked back. its fine to keep giving formula up until 2 yrs of age..why dont you try the cow n gate growing up milk?
Full fat milk should be the only milk you give to your child (if not allergic) from 1 / 2 yrs up until 5 yrs old. This is because it is the only milk that contains enough vitamin A as well as all the other nutrients and calcium.
Children between the ages of one and three need to have about 350mg of calcium a day. About 300ml milk (three fifths of a pint) would provide this. This does not mean as I said before that they have to have pure milk, you can give this in other forms.

Hi, sorry i dont have any advice i just wanted to let you know that i was told to only let children under 8 drink full fat milk as they need the fats that are in it. I also wouldnt worry too much about making her drink cows milk in too much of a hurry as the human body is not made to proccess the lactose that comes with cows milk and some babies can find it hard to digest it.

oh and you can try milkshakes too. if you dont want her to have artificial milkshake then make your own. Do a smoothie. toddlers and children dont have to drink 'milk' they can get it in different ways such a yogurts, smoothies, butter, cheese etc..

mix her formula with a lil bit of milk to start with..you'l have to try 'weaning' her. So if she takes just an oz of cows milk and then 7 oz of formula mixed, for one week, then try 2oz of cows milk and 6oz of formula..and so on until shes down to full cows milk. Try warming it up too as cows milk can taste so different if cold...she may not like cold milk, I know my daughter doesnt, she has warm milk for her breakfast, in her bottle etc. without fail, wont drink cold for nothing!
