My little boy screams everytime he get changed or put on his back. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get changing time a little less stressful? He screams when we change his diaper, after bath time when we are trying to put on his PJs or lotion on. I have tired toys, his seahorse that plays music, and his paci.

He is 8 months old! Thanks... Its hard because he is in daycare and I see him doing that to them. It sounds like someone is beating the crap out of him when they change his diaper. I feel so bad for them!

I sing the ABC song as loud as possible at first and then lower my voice as I sing other songs.

car keys are a good distraction. I always tried to make it entertaining whenever I changed my babies, making a silly little song describing what I was doing. I also did that for getting dressed, taking a bath, getting ready for bed,....it became predictable and enjoyable for my kids, they always knew exactly what was coming and even began to participate.

my daughter does the same thing.how old is your son? my is almost a year, and what we've learned is it's all about distraction.give him a toy(or 2) to hold while you change him.if all else fails, give him the tv remote lol! don't know why, but that always works with her.that or a cell phone.
