hi ya i have 3 children myself my middle child my son is 3 in a couple of weeks and he still has seperation problems he doesnt scream when i leave a room but he doesnt like me leaving him with anyone else, all i did when he was younger was leave a room when he cried i popped my head around the door and talked to him just a quick hello or something so he knew i was still there and as i moved round the house i either sang so he could still hear me or talked to him and just told him what i was doing in each room, it also helps that they can leave the room and follow you if they want i found when my son was shut in by the stair gate he was worse but as soon as he realised he could leave the room he was fine, and i think the more you pick them up to soothe them the worse it will become just remember there not hurt or in any pain just keep talking to them i hope this helps x
