MY ALMOST 4 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER IS TRYING OUR CEREAL FOR THE FIRST TIME AND SHE WONT REALLY COOPERATE...IS IT TOO EARLY FOR THE CEREAL OR SHOULD I KEEP TRYING..HELLLP

They really don't need it until they are 6 months. If she is refusing that's okay! Just try again later. My daughter did not like the plain rice cereal. She took to the whole wheat one. You may have to experiment with several types to see which one she likes. Also at this age they are still learning the motion of using their tongue. Right now all they know is to suck. Keep at it and she will get the hang of it!

Hey your not alone. I am in the same situation. I just started feeding my daughter cereal and she rejected and still is. The problem is that the cereal is not formula. She is not used to the texture so she is rejecting it. I talked to other mothers and this is normal. Just try to keep feeding it to her and eventually she will get used to it. My daugher is on her third bowl and will sort of take it but still spits most of it back. Just be patience and have lots of bibs and wipe cloths near by for the mess. Your not alone. Every child from my understanding goes through this
